“…This behavior is associated with a nonthermal stable material that confirms that functional groups make the GrO material less hydrophilic. [27] The thermogravimetric results are in concordance with previous literature, [25][26][27][28] where GrO is a thermally unstable material, as it slowly decomposes between 60 and 80 °C, [29] and later 200-240 °C, the decomposition of oxygenated functional groups occurs, releasing CO, CO 2 , and water vapor. The thermal behavior of the GrODAMN material (Figure 2b) showed the same temperature domain of the weight loss zones as the GrO material.…”

“…Meanwhile, it is clearly shown that the micro nano-hardness and elastic modulus of PMG films are the biggest among the four films. It could be the special covalent bonding formed by the synergistic effect of MoS 2 and Gr with PI polymer chain which improves the mechanical properties of PMG composite lubricating film [28-30].

“…The interlayer distance is larger than the reported value of 0.335 nm for pristine graphite corresponding to a diffraction peak at 27°. This increase in the d ‐spacing may be attributed to the possible presence of oxygen containing functional groups on the GO edge [25]. Using the Scherrer equation, the mean crystalline diameter and the average number of layers in a crystallite were found to be 7.24 nm and ∼8 respectively.…”
