“…It could be found that all latex particles were sphere shape, and there were core-shell structure particles. 16 It was consistent with particle size measured with DLS that the latex particles sizes by batch were larger. Besides, the polydispersibility of particle size by batch was more obvious.…”

“…PMPS mainly contains three kinds of covalent bonds; SiO, SiC, and CC. These bonds possess bond energies of 460.5, 326.4, and 304 kJ mol −1 , respectively .The cleavage of SiC and CC observed between 210°C and 350°C. The number of SiO bond in PMPS is the largest because of its highly branched three‐dimensional structure.…”

“…Bifunctional hydrophobic SQ NPs with methyl (1)/propyl (4) and, or propyl (4)/octyl (6) SQ compositions were prepared via an emulsion polymerization under alkaline conditions in a SDS/water mixture at 35 °C. 193 Bifunctional SQ NPs could be obtained by physical doping of specific molecules, 190,[194][195][196][197] but the covalent linkage was often preferred to prevent the leakage of the doping agents after an extended period of time. Monoalkoxysilylated chlorin (30) 198 and rhodamine B (28) 199 were thus covalently incorporated into vinyl (3) SQ NPs.…”
