Synthesis and Spectral Properties of New Octamethyl Substituted Tetrapyrazinoporphyrazines

Abstract: Efficient synthetic approach to a new magnesium and zinc complexes of methyl substituted tetrapyrazinoporphyrazine was developed. The optimization of reaction conditions for preparation of initial pyrazine-2,3-dicarbonitrile was carried out, using cerium ammonium nitrate as a catalyst. The target complexes were characterized by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy.
