Technology to restore design parameters of irrigation pump discharge pipelines

Abstract: The article discusses the restoration of irrigation pump station discharge pipelines’ design parameters, based on sand-cement anticorrosion shotcrete coating technology. Repair of created cracks, damages during operation, and restoration of design parameters of discharge pipelines is performed using shotcreting with Kalmatron® (USA) additive. Besides, paper theoretically validates optimal design data of restored discharge pipelines, the thickness of the anticorrosion coating, and their influence on working cha… Show more

“…It turned out that when a 30 cm layer was cut during the cycle, the device cut a 28-32 cm layer (Figure 2). With the human factor, these indicators were 6-9 cm [9]. With the help of this tool, the excavator performs earthworks of the same volume as the amount of earthworks specified in the project.…”

“…The generally accepted methodology determines soil moisture content in the laboratory (drying at 105 0 C, weight measurement, humidity calculation). To objectively assess the effect of surface area on irrigated water consumption, an analytical calculation of moisture content, degree, and distance distribution is performed [9][10][11][12].…”

“…To apply a polymer -polymer complex solution to the soil surface, a system wаs used with a slight re-equipment for the introduction of herbicides, installed on a tractor with a seeder for sowing cotton with a flow rate of 0.6-0.8 l/m2. The event is cаrried out simultaneously with spraying with herbicide on the soil surface during cotton sowing and before each irrigation when cutting furrows (see Figure 1) [12][13][14][15][16][17].…”
