“…It was therefore decided, upon completion of this study, to add anticoagulants only at the end of the treatment course with streptokinase. However, there seems to be a slightly higher incidence of proved thrombolysis in patients with the combined treatment (Moser and Hajjar, 1960); this series is, however, too small for valid conclusions to be drawn. At present it is not possible to define the indications for thrombolytic therapy in arterial occlusion.…”
