The Diagnosis and Management of Anxiety in Adolescents With Comorbid ADHD

Abstract: Among adolescents suffering from attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), comorbid anxiety disorders are common, and symptoms need to be recognized early to minimize the potential impact on their quality of life. Anxiety disorders are recognized by using validated screening tools such as the Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders and the Spence Children's Anxiety Scale.
