The factors influencing modeling of collaborative performance supply chain: A review on fresh produce

Abstract: The aim of this study is to identify and explore the success factors that influence the fresh product supply chain collaborative performance system (CPS) towards the flow of information among partners along the chain, and the supply chain relationships of all partners in it by identifying the role played by information structures at the planning level of supply chain collaboration, as well as providing policy insights to stakeholders in different countries to analyze applicable implementation. “…This could be achieved by systematising food safety standards and quality control mechanisms during pre-production, production and marketing. The modernisation of fresh supply chains adopted in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia could be particularly relevant for Nepal (Susanto and Othman, 2021). Such a quality control mechanism could also curb the import of low-quality vegetables and its resulting adverse price effect on the national market, thereby increasing the price of high-quality, domestic vegetables.…”

“…However, the collaboration performance in fresh produce supply chains can be affected by factors such as lack of knowledge of the benefits of collaborative work systems, little desire for change, absence of a collaborative culture, lack of trust, technology and information, social relationships, respect for the environment, sustainability, security and protection. Thus, performance systems of collaborative processes are influenced by various factors that are decisive in achieving collaborative scenarios [32]. Coordination mechanisms are used to motivate the decentralized chain members to get better performances in the supply chain [33].…”
