Waste bank is one of the strategies for implementing the 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) in waste management at the community level using an economic incentive pattern. The government's program to reduce waste has generated a new innovation, namely by establishing a “waste bank”. Integrated waste processing can stimulate creativity and innovation in society so as to improve the welfare of residents. Garbage can be a source of economic empowerment for the community, by recycling it into unique items that generate money. Community service programs in the form of counseling and the practice of recycling household food scraps are implemented in Gambir Anom Hamlet RT.03 RW.07 Desa Keboan Anom Sidoarjo, this activity will be very beneficial for residents considering the use of food waste, vegetables and leaves can be used as liquid fertilizer , compost while plastic waste can be used as various crafts. With a cost of ± IDR 45,000 / 20 kg for the purchase of used buckets, paralon, woven wire and EM4 as well as yeast, leftover food, vegetables and leaves can produce liquid fertilizer and compost instead of chemical fertilizers which are more expensive. Meanwhile, plastic waste can be used as decorative flowers, bags, and other handicrafts with an average selling price of IDR 10,000. Counseling and training on waste processing is expected to provide an understanding to the community of the importance of protecting the environment by obtaining added value from an economic side. This research aims to study the impact between variables and test the impact of academic atmosphere variables, which are thought to moderate individual characteristics, locus of control, and competence variables on lecturer performance. Therefore, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a moderating relationship is used to measure Moderated Structural Equation Modeling (MSEM). The novelty in this research is to combine attribution theory and planned behavior theory by placing academic atmosphere as a moderating variable. We modified the academic atmosphere as a moderating variable. The main findings of this research are that the academic atmosphere strengthens the influence of individual characteristics on lecturer performance. An excellent academic atmosphere can motivate lecturers so that their characteristics can be maximized to improve performance. The academic atmosphere strengthens the influence of lecturer competence on lecturer performance. Availability of academic facilities and infrastructure, quality and quantity of interaction of academic activities, academic atmosphere development, and scientific personality development will motivate lecturers. So that the competencies possessed can be maximized to achieve increased performance. However, the academic atmosphere does not moderate the influence of locus of control on the lecturer's performance in private universities. These findings can be a reference for private universities to increase the lecturer's performance. For lecturers, it is expected to motivate improving competence, strengthening locus of control, and personal characteristics.

Organisational sustainability is closely linked to the organisation's brand image in the eyes of stakeholders and the wider community. Each organisation can build a positive image through effective communication or innovative marketing models, one of which is social media. Social media is the most appropriate means of communication and marketing for universities to recruit prospective students. This study analysed the role of knowledge-based variables in building higher education sustainability, as universities are knowledge institutions and always maintain or develop knowledge through research activities. Knowledge-based variables include Intellectual Capital, University Management Intelligence, and Social Media. Based on this, this research aimed to find out the significance of knowledge-based variables in the sustainability of private universities in East Java. This research focused on human behaviour by using a survey with a quantitative approach and data collected through a questionnaire. This study concludes that Social Media Marketing does not reduce the impact of intellectual capital on private universities' sustainability in East Java. Social Media Marketing does not reduce the impact of the University Managerial Intelligence on the sustainability of private universities in East Java.
