The Influence of Heat Treatment on the Infrared Absorption Spectra of Zn3P2

Abstract

Absorption spectra for heat-treated Zn,P, crystals are measured within the 0.06 to 1.56 eV energy range a t temperatures of 300 and 80 K. Multiphonon absorption in the range of 0.06 to 0.11 eV and impurity absorption for energies higher than 0.11 eV is observed. A distinct influence of the heat treatment on infrared absorption spectra for Zn,P, is found.Die Absorptionsspektren warmebehandelter Zn,P,-Kristalle werden bei Temperaturen von 300 und 80 K im Energiebereich von 0,06 bis 1,56 eV untersucht. Multiphononenabsorption und Storstellenabsorption werden im Energiebereich von 0,06 bis 0 , l l eV bzw. fur Energien hoher als 0 , l l eV beobachtet. Dabei wird ein ausgepragter EinfluB der Warmebehandlung auf die Infrarotabsorptionsspektren von Zn,P, festgestellt.
