Objective: This study aims to develop a unique model for the Community Service Program (CSP) at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang by emphasising the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach. Methodology: Involving CSP activities from 2016 to 2023, this study aims to enrich the CSP program by integrating innovative strategies in community empowerment. The research adopted the 4D Model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) for model development, by organising the CSP framework. Using a qualitative approach, the research method involved appreciative inquiry, community mapping, field interviews, and surveys in 10 districts/cities in West Sumatra. Analyses of CSP activities reveal distinctive patterns-Thematic CSP, CSP-PPM, and different types of CSP-that impact community empowerment. Results: The findings emphasise the need for structured, sustainable, and tailored CSP programs, with an emphasis on continuity of planning, program stability, and sustained impact for lasting community benefit. This study presents an ABCD pattern of service-learning, emphasising collaboration, asset building, and problem-solving, contained within the 4D framework. Conclusion: The model highlights structured planning stages, debriefing rules, and comprehensive engagement strategies that are essential for the implementation of impactful service-learning.

Educational technology is the study and practice of using technology to facilitate and enhance learning performance. During the Covid-19 pandemic, digital learning and the use of information technology were one of the solutions to minimize the risk of Covid-19, according to the government's health protocol. As a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), the Dharma Laksana Orphanage receives computer set donations from their funders. Based on preliminary reviews, the use of these computer devices is not optimal, both for students and teachers. The inability to optimize the use of computer devices seems to have an impact on the effectiveness of learning approaches by utilizing information technology. This Community Service was performed using the Service Learning methodology and was designed to assist in the development of human resources related to learning methods and media used during the Covid-19 pandemic. During this activity, Edmodo, the leading social learning platform, was successfully introduced. Blended Learning with Google Apps is also covered. It increased both student and teacher awareness of digital learning, as well as teacher competence in creating interactive learning media, by introducing a variety of educational platforms.

ABSTRAKBanyak perubahan telah terjadi dalam banyak aspek kehidupan kita dalam beberapa bulan terakhir. COVID-19 memaksa kita untuk beradaptasi dengan ketidakpastian yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Pembelajaran digital dan penggunaan teknologi informasi menjadi solusi untuk mengurangi risiko paparan COVID-19. Paradigma pendidikan berkembang dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi sebagai wahana pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMA Kristen Harapan, yang berlokasi kurang lebih 3,1 km dari lokasi kampus pengusul dan berlangsung antara bulan November 2021 sampai dengan April 2022. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metodologi Service Learning yang merupakan metodologi yang didasarkan pada kebutuhan, masalah, atau tantangan nyata yang dapat ditemukan baik dalam konteks lokal maupun global. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah memberikan pengenalan Sistem Informasi Geografis yang diharapkan menjadi nilai tambah pada mata pelajaran Geografi di SMA Kristen Harapan. Hal ini sejalan dengan salah satu misi yang diusung, yaitu menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang mengikuti perkembangan IPTEK. Pelatihan dapat diterima dan dapat memberikan pengalaman nyata dalam Mata Pelajaran Geografi bagi para siswa didik sekaligus menjadi nilai tambah dalam pembelajaran Geografi di SMA Kristen Harapan. Hasil penilaian kegiatan berada di posisi nilai tertinggi, yaitu 5. Sementara itu, hasil penilaian kepuasan mendapatkan nilai 4.81 dari nilai tertinggi 5. Kata kunci: geografi; sekolah menengah atas; sistem informasi geografis. ABSTRACTDuring the COVID-19 pandemic, digital learning and information technology use are solutions to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure. The educational paradigm is evolving by utilizing information technology as a vehicle for knowledge development. This community service activity took place at SMA Kristen Harapan, which is approximately 3.1 kilometers from the ITB STIKOM Bali, between November 2021 and April 2022. It was performed in accordance with the Service Learning methodology, which is based on needs, problems, or real challenges found in both local and global contexts. The purpose of the service activity is to provide an introduction to Geographic Information Systems, which will be useful in SMA Kristen Harapan's Geography classes. This is in line with one of the missions carried out, which is to provide facilities and infrastructure that keep up with scientific and technological advancements. Learning in the use of Geographic Information Systems to improve geographic knowledge at SMA Kristen Harapan was acceptable, and they can provide students with real-world experience in Geography subjects while also adding value to Geography learning. The activity assessment results are in the position of the highest score, which is 5. Meanwhile, the satisfaction assessment yields a value of 4.81 out of a maximum score of 5.
