Abstract: health psychology report • volume 7(2), 9 original article background The Five-Factor Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory-Short Form (FFOCI-SF) is an instrument used to measure obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, which is one of the most widespread personality disorders. “…The FFOCI trait scales, which should be the main focus of interpretation, were meaningfully associated with the AMPD facets as hypothesized, except for two hypothesized associations with AMPD Perseveration. These findings appear generally consistent with the previous FFOCI literature (Crego et al, 2015; Klosowski et al, 2019). We discuss the associations with each of these conceptually relevant AMPD traits, AMPD impairment, and the overall AMPD–OCPD aggregate score next.…”

“…On the other hand, AMPD Perseveration was most strongly associated with FFOCI Excessive Worry, which was not hypothesized. These findings are also consistent with previous research (Crego et al, 2015; Klosowski et al, 2019) and thus merit some discussion. The AMPD includes Perseveration as one of the two core traits (along with Restricted Affectivity and Intimacy Avoidance) for its operationalization and this trait (at least as measured by PID-5) has consistently been associated with traditional DSM-IV / DSM-5 measures of OCPD (Bastiaens et al, 2016; Fossati et al, 2013; Liggett et al, 2017; Liggett & Sellbom, 2018).…”
