The teaching and learning procedure was stated to be online in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.It is necessary to change from face-to-face instruction to online learning. In accordance with this, teachers must modify their online teaching and learning practices. This study concentrated on the methods teachers used to implement teaching writing throughout the epidemic COVID-19. The study's goals are to outline the teacher's approach to teaching writing and how to use it in widespread online learning. The study adopted a qualitative descriptive method. The participants of this research are two English teachers. The data were collected by using observation, interviews, and documents. Respondents were observed during the teaching learning process and interviewed to support observation data. The data collected were analyzed by using Creswell’s procedures which were organizing, preparing, looking, reading, coding, and interpreting data. The findings of this research concluded that from various strategies of teaching writing, the English teacher only implemented a collaborative learning strategy and summarizing strategy. Following the pandemic situation, the two strategies were done online through the zoom platform. By doing this research, it suggested that teachers adopt and practice more strategies in teaching, not only teaching writing but also teaching all skills in English.

The goal of this study is to create a conceptual framework for implementing project-based learning in private institutions to teach language skills. This study made use of the LPKS Aura Sukma Insani-Tourism and the Home Assistance Program in the English study program. An explanatory mixed methods design method was used in this study, with quantitative research and qualitative analysis conducted to support the analysis. The needs analysis model is a hybrid of CIPP and OEM evaluation concepts. According to the findings of this study, this institution in this context requires a conceptual framework for the use of technology-based Project-based learning in teaching language skills, so that trainers are pedagogically prepared. The input results indicate that this institution requires trainers and students to be prepared to implement technology-based Project-based learning in the classroom. The process results indicate that technology-based project-based learning must be implemented with adequate technological support for students. The product results demonstrate that this technology-based project-based learning must be capable of producing results in the form of products that will later be used as evaluation material in the implementation of additional technology-based project-based learning. In addition to the findings of the analysis, it was discovered that the planning of teaching materials must be in accordance with student needs as well as 21st century skills. The transition from face-to-face to digital learning during the pandemic has had a profound impact on students, teachers, parents and policy makers. In practice, the challenges are numerous. Fundamentally, it requires the idea of best practices in the implementation of ELT. The best formulation can be made only when the challenges are comprehensively identified. During 2017-2021, there are several studies examining the challenges of ELT from pre-pandemic to post-pandemic, but only focusing on particular contexts. Thus, this research aims to address those challenges and mentality of e-learning in post-pandemic to develop ELT performance. Whereas the method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) that examines journal articles and proceedings in the 2017-2021 publications according to the topic. The results of this study are a systematic classification of mentality of online learning, ELT challenges, strategy proposed from pre-pandemic to post-pandemic especially in Indonesian context and presented into several subsections; (a) technical challenges, (b) pedagogical challenges, (c) socio-economic challenges, (d) institutional and governmental policies challenges. It is fundamental to identify these challenges in order to come up with the best formula of ELT strategies, such as reconstructing the mentality of learning and integrating roles of various parties. The results of this study provide a comprehensive picture regarding with the reality of ELT during pre-to-post pandemic and as the literature for EFL teachers to develop their professionalism as well as become the considerations for education stakeholders.
