“…Oaxaca sobresale la importancia cultural y económica que tienen las bromelias en distintas comunidades indígenas(Mondragón-Chaparro & Ticktin 2011;Mondragón- Chaparro 2015;Mondragón-Chaparro et al 2016;Riveros-Cañas et al 2016). No obstante, pocos son los trabajos que han registrado el conocimiento biológico y ecológico que estas sociedades han adquirido a lo largo del tiempo como resultado de la interacción permanente con las bromelias(Mondragón-Chaparro & Villa-Guzmán 2008;Luna-José & Aguilar 2012).De acuerdo a Castellanos-Martínez (2005) y Bautista-Cruz (2010), Tabaá y Yojovi son pueblos zapotecos que han compartido una historia cultural y de relación con los seres vivos; por lo que los usos, el manejo y el conocimiento que tienen de las bromelias fue similar, aunque se presentaron algunas variantes nomenclaturales en la clasificación de bromelias de estos poblados.Para obtener la primera aproximación en el reconocimiento ontogénico que tienen los habitantes de las bromelias, se empleó el sistema universal de etnoclasificación propuesto porBerlin et al (1973):1) Inicio único.…”
