Abstract: Purpose: Atherosclerosis is among the major factors in ischemic stroke. It has been set forth that serum levels decline of adiponectin, which is produced from adipose tissue and downgrades atherosclerosis, in the presence of atherosclerosis risk factors such as obesity, HT, DM, and hyperlipidaemia.
