“…They have used a relative pressure range of 0.04 to 0.14 and a value of 0.138 nm 2 for σ A (Ar, T 2 ) at both temperatures to determine the BET areas. A similar reduced surface area was also reported by Wang et al for Monarch 280 using an occupied area of 0.142 nm 2 for Ar at 87 K. Using ZAI analysis, it may be noted that the values of σ(Ar) determined from using the respective data sets for Ar and N 2 adsorption reported by both Jaroniec's and Kaneko's research groups 25,36 are nearly the same (Table 4).…”

“…Ar adsorption vapor data on a sample of BP 280 carbon black (Cabot, USA) by Gardner et al, 25−27 we performed ZAI analysis and determined the mass-specific mZAI constants. Similar analyses were performed on the N 2 and Ar adsorption data for Monarch 280 carbon black (Cabot, USA), reported by Wang et al 36 The results obtained are listed in Table 4. In a previous article, 18 the results of ZAI analysis on the N 2 vapor adsorption data obtained from another sample of the same batch of BP 280 carbon black, 38 were reported and are given in Table 4 for completeness.…”

“…[67] The external surface area of mCSs was calculated using an alpha-S plot by subtracting the pore effect as described in a previous study. [68] Preparation of PVDF Nanofiber with Mesoporous Carbon: First, 1.3 g of PVDF was stirred with 3.48 g of DMF in a 30 mL vial for 2 h to completely dissolve the PVDF. Then, 0.068 g of mCS was added to 5.22 g of acetone and dispersed for 2 h using a sonicator.…”
