“…The data showed that one of the results of the Campus Game was the achievement of engagement with the use of digital tools. Teams were created with Generation Z (new digital) and people of the Net generation [37] and those from Generation X, who are more reluctant about digitization, overcoming the prejudice of traditional learning that has the limit of not falling within the sustainable development goals of the 2030 Agenda. Koulopoulos [38] said "it is recognized that Generation Z was born in a historical period in which natural resources are disappearing".…”

“…Water masses in the upper layer were subjected to visible seasonal variability due to atmospheric forcing. In fact, in the same period potential temperature time series Pensieri et al (2013) used the TS diagrams drawn from daily mean data collected on 15 March, 15 June, and 15 December to confirm the seasonal variability of the upper layer water masses of the region, but they ascribed the variation in the deeper water masses (see Fig. 10) to the advection of currents of different origin, the more salty and warm ones coming from the Tyrrhenian sea.…”

“…Previous works have described mainly thematically the system structure and activity (Nittis et al, 2007;Pensieri et al, 2010Pensieri et al, , 2012Pensieri et al, , 2013 among the most recent ones). The purpose of this paper is to summarise and review its long-lasting contribution to the study of the Ligurian basin, as an example of enclosed sea.…”

“…Venkatesan et al have paid their attention to reliable performance of offshore moored buoys on cyclone monitoring, reliability modeling and maintenance strategies [7]. Sara et al have collected all the time series by the W1-M3A off-shore observatory moored at 40 nautical miles away from the Genoa coasts, in the center of Ligurian basin on a deep sea bed (1250m) and demonstrate the multidisciplinary nature of the system and its monitoring capability on the physical processes involving both the atmosphere and ocean [14]. Elisa et al have described the Oceanographic Data Acquisition System (ODAS) Italia 1 buoy's historical background and discussed the scientific results that have been obtained exploiting the data from the system [2].…”
