Therapy for nifedipine-induced gingival overgrowth by saireito in rats

Abstract: ObjectiveA calcium antagonist, nifedipine, causes gingival overgrowth as a side effect. It has been confirmed that the Japanese traditional medicine, Saireito, inhibits the nifedipine-induced proliferation of gingival fibroblasts in vitro.
