This study aims to discover a pattern of the transformation of tolerance values from parents to early childhood. The tolerance value in this day and age experiences some problems in the context of nationality. This can be seen from some parts of the area in Indonesia. For instance, in the traditional village of Cigugur, a life based on tolerance is experienced in the community. This study focused on the Cigugur community’s pattern of applying tolerance values in family and community life. This study uses a qualitative method to undertake the study. Observations and in-depth interviews were used to carry out the data collection, and then it was verified and validated through four stages: member check, audit trial, triangulation, and expert opinion. It can be concluded that the pattern of the transformation of tolerance values from parents to early childhood could be transformed through some stages; 1) making sense of kinship as an adhesive between followers of different religions, 2) conveying religious teachings towards differences, not to be contested but to be respected and admired, 3) avoiding the content of particular political interests, 4) having a sense compassion for each other, and 5) having tepo seliro (respect) for each other.

The relevance of the problem under study is conditioned by the need to explore the bureaucracy of district schools in Kazan province during the first half of the XIXth century, making it possible to determine the contribution of the above officials to the development of public education. The article presents the conditions for implementing professional activities by staff caretakers and the analysis of staff caretaker’s duties and their financial competence, and the specifics of their position as civil servants in the public education system. The authors showed that the practical activity of the district schools, their financial well-being (in the form of additional contributions), and the management of the schools' entire economic part, reporting, depended on the personal qualities, abilities, and skills of a regular caretaker. The article examines conflict situations between the teachers of district schools, which became a characteristic phenomenon for the entire educational system in the first half of the XIXth century. The methods of their elimination by staff caretakers were also considered. Determination of the factors for establishing a staff caretaker institution and the principles of appointment to this position made it possible to identify his role in organizing the system of district schools in Kazan province during the first half of the XIXth century. The authors showed that the staff caretakers controlled almost all the activities of the Kazan province's district schools during the first half of the XIXth century, reporting, if necessary, about the shortcomings in their work to higher authorities.

This article examines the features of folk teachers' everyday life in the Russian Empire during the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries. The study is based on such concepts as everyday life, lifestyle, standard of living, and working conditions. As the part of the study of folk teachers' everyday life, the author focused on the consideration of the material, legal status, living and working conditions, and professional opportunities provided to teachers. Besides, the reasons for the frequent layoffs of national teachers were studied. Based on a deep analysis of historical sources and literature, the author comes to the conclusion that by the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XX centuries most of the teaching positions in public schools began to be occupied by female teachers, and attempts were made to raise their material and legal status at the legislative level. Despite such attempts, folk teachers in the Russian Empire had a low professional status in contrast to their male colleagues during the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries. This was due to the fact that during this period woman were not full members of society yet and the processes of women's emancipation in Russia proceeded much more slowly than in other countries.
