Aeromonas is a pathogen that causes red sore in largemouth bass [44], causing an inflammatory response and gut disturbances in fish [45][46][47], which can lead to a high mortality of largemouth bass in the aquaculture system. “…Total RNA was extracted from spleen and head kidney of largemouth bass using RNA extraction kit (Tiangen, China) referring to manufacturer's instructions, and then fi rst-strand cDNA was synthesized using FastKing RT kit (Tiangen, China) following quality inspection of RNA by Bioanalyzer 2100 (Agilent Technologies, USA).
