In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of the weights obtained from different weighting methods on the performance rankings by aiming to rank the economic performances of Level 2 regions between 2017-2019 within the framework of NUTS Turkey with eight economic criteria found in accordance with the literature. For this purpose, while the criteria are weighted using Improved ENTROPY and CRITIC methods; economic performance rankings were obtained by the standardized COPRAS method. Finally, the ranking results obtained from both methods were compared between years. According to the economic performance ranking results of the Level 2 regions made with the COPRAS method: In 2017-2019, it was seen that the Istanbul region (TR10) ranked first as the best alternative in the ranking obtained by both weighting methods. Van, Muş, Bitlis, Hakkâri (TRB2) region in 2017; In 2018 and 2019, Ağrı, Kars, Iğdır, Ardahan (TRA2) and Erzurum, Erzincan, Bayburt (TRA1) regions according to the Improved ENTROPY method and Mardin, Batman, Şırnak, Siirt (TRC3) regions according to the CRITIC method were the last ranked regions. The high spearman rank correlation coefficient values obtained in the comparison revealed that the relationship between the rank obtained by the two methods was high.
