There are still many digital literacy gaps among pesantren in Indonesia due to maintaining the pesantren culture itself. Pesantren must be able to adapt to the times in the digital era, so they can compete with other educational institutions by utilizing digital literacy. The purpose of this article is to analyze pesantren digital literacy skills as an effort to realize the progress of pesantren education. The method used is library research with descriptive analysis study. The data is analyzed using content analysis and descriptive studies related to digital literacy in pesantren by using data sources from previous studies. The results explain that digital literacy is an opportunity and potential for pesantren education to be developed so that the role of pesantren in society is more advanced and superior. So, pesantren remains adaptive to the developments and demands of the times as needed. The digital literacy can be in the form of critical, creativity, imagination, and creative thinking skills in understanding technological developments so that they can use them well. Pesantren digital literacy is optimized as a form of effort in realizing the progress of pesantren education in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the introduction of literacy culture to millennial students in Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is a qualitative case study type. In order to get an overview of the literacy culture of millennial students at Islamic boarding schools, the researchers made direct observations and documented learning activities at the Islamic boarding schools. Interviews were conducted with boarding school caretakers, foundation heads, asatidz and administrators in their respective areas. Qualitative analysis activities consist of three strands, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that the strategy for introducing literacy culture to millennial students at Islamic boarding schools was carried out through learning analysis, learning system design and evaluation. This research has implications that a boarding school or institution that has innovation combined with the creativity of its asatid in managing knowledge (literacy culture) will be able to arouse the motivation and intelligence of students in totality.

In this training, the use of Pop Up in learning was introduced along with its benefits to 45 participants in TPQ At-Taqwa Bedahlawak Jombang. The steps conducted in this activity covered, socialization, training, monitoring, and evaluation. In socialization the instructor explained the benefits of Pop Up and how to design it. After identifying the benefits, in training phase, the participant that was divided in to some group were also asked to construct the pop up. During constructing process, the whole participants were quite excited. Then, on monitoring and evaluation, it was found that there some positive impacts obtained after conducting this activity. The students were very enthusiast toward the instructional media, the teacher had additional instructional media, and the parents identified the benefits of Pop Up.
