IT for rural tourism was in place before the COVID-19 pandemic emerged; however, the initiatives were intermittent and isolated. The effects of the pandemic encourage e-collaboration to accelerate the recovery of tourism. This study explores the opportunities, strategies and barriers to e-collaboration in tourism business activities. Systematic literature studies were carried out by the PRISMA approach and analyzed with the fuzzy Delphi method (FDM). Meta-analysis results are mapped in a matrix combination of SWOT and Porter’s Diamond Model. This matrix was discussed with experts selected based on their experience in IT-based collaborative activities through FDG. This study’s driving factors are management commitment, culture, trust, citizens, and local community involvement. Inhibiting factors are a lack of IT, the risk of conflict, and particular parties’ domination. Several strategies to increase e-collaboration opportunities are empowering local entrepreneurship, encouraging continuous innovation, and sharing knowledge. Conflict management and increasing trust between members need to be considered to overcome barriers to e-collaboration. This study provides a novel overview of the main issues discussed in previous tourism research regarding the importance of IT to accelerate economic recovery in the face of disruption, such as a pandemic. The study examines the case of Indonesia and hopes to become a reference for optimizing IT for the recovery of rural tourism in developing countries with similar characteristics. The problem of combating threats of illegal trafficking of arms, ammunition and explosives at the border points of Ukraine with the countries of the European Union EU has become urgent under martial law. The aim of the study was to develop an optimal strategy for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as "SBGSU") to combat threats of illegal arms trafficking at border points with EU countries under martial law. A comprehensive methodological approach combining the following scientific methods was used: comparative method, systems analysis method, structural-functional method, survey and group expert evaluation method, classification method and determination of numerical characteristics. A model was developed to assess the threat of illegal arms trafficking on the border of Ukraine with the EU countries under martial law based on SWOT-analysis. As a result, the factors of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, which exist in the Ukrainian border guard agency, were identified. It is concluded that the results of this study cannot be applied to the border areas of Ukraine with such countries as the Russian Federation, Belarus and Moldova.

Every nation aspires to have a capable national defense that is backed by a robust national defense industry. One of the most important expectations is that the defense industry, like every other sector, should make maximum use of technology for establishing an independent national defense. 3D printing as an emerging technology is widely used in many sectors including mari-time, aerospace, and automotive. It should come as no surprise then, that it is also being increasingly adopted by the defense sector worldwide. This study focuses on the effects of 3D printing technology on Türkiye's defense in-dustry. For this purpose, a three-stage methodology was followed. In the first stage, the positive and negative effects of 3D printers on the defense indus-try were determined via literature. In the second stage, the SWOT analysis of Türkiye's defense industry was examined. In the last stage, the effects of 3D printers on the outputs obtained at the end of SWOT were carried out. The opinions needed during the study were obtained from defense industry companies in Türkiye and academicians working in this field.
