“…This is consistent with the prophet Muhammad's statement that "every good act is a type of Sadaqah" (Ibrahim and Sherif, 2008). Sadaqah assists in eradicating poverty, meeting the needs of Muslims who are in need, lowering Muslim debtors' obligations, and those who are unable to continue their path due to obstacles (Abdullahi, 2019;Bagasra, 2021;Jamal et al, 2019;Mikani et al, 2021), as well as, may be given to poor Muslims and non-Muslims alike (Chetioui et al, 2023). “…This is in agreement with prophet Muhammad narration: “every good deed is a form of Sadaqah” (Brahim and Sherif, 2008). Sadaqah contributes to alleviating poverty, fulfilling the requirements of the needy Muslims, reducing the debt of Muslim debtors and helping the stranded people to complete their journey (Abdullahi, 2019; Jamal et al , 2019; Bagasra, 2021; Mikani et al , 2022). Sadaqah can also be donated to both needy Muslims and nonMuslims.…”
