Purpose This paper aims to explore service learning with its insights in empowering corporate responsibility awareness. Attempts to build corporate responsibility widely in incorporating into the sustainability engagement could be demonstrated in fostering the transformative experiential learning with extensive evaluation and reconfiguration of existing programs. The focus on enhancing the learning experience in emphasizing the community engagement would be applied with strengthening the actual performance in encompassing the ability raising awareness about the environmental issues. Design/methodology/approach The approach used in this paper refers to develop the conceptual framework about the service learning with various strategies to give insight on corporate social responsibility (CSR). Incorporating the approach of conceptualizing the basis of service learning, key consideration was generated into particular enhancement of service learning in contributing to the CSR. Findings The finding reveals that getting benefit to serving into the community engagement may take beneficial outcomes with its valuable insight to assist in the progress of program designed with associating to enhance corporate responsibility and sustainability awareness. The advancement of the social control among the companies would be deployed within empowering service learning for CSR where sustainability awareness-based community service as embodiment of CSR should be enhanced through nurturing corporate responsibility-based transformative experiential learning. Moreover, this initiative refers to an attempt to strengthen the basis of corporate responsibility and sustainability awareness-based experiential learning, which could enlarge creative thinking with envisioning sustainability and corporate responsibility. Originality/value This study is expected to contribute to the experiential learning to enhance the sustainability within the learning setting engaged in achieving what to contribute to the environmental concern. In creating the situation where the balance between serving and learning can be achieved, attempts to encourage them in joining the service learning program should be collaborated with orienting both personal and social community oriented comprehensively in underlying the responsibility awareness, the sustainability-based moral values. These aim to enhance the understanding stage about the care for protecting the environmental concern within learning experience with the goal to produce responsible awareness especially by economic agents such as shareholders, managers, regulators and active participants to promote sustainable benefits.
Abstract-as an attempt to understand Modern Learning Environment (MLE) to support learning in big data era, its exploration where the students are engaged to access online resources using their mobile devices, laptop and other digital devices needs to understand MLE as the term integrated between digital technology tools and learning skills. The convenient facilitation has a whole section designed to support learning styles which can exactly create the learning environment to be modern. This paper aims to explore innovative design for MLE with big data approach to see the chance in applying this model for the construction to the design of big data based learning environments to facilitate online learning towards information and knowledge in higher education setting. The finding reveals to propose model reference to be implemented to improve student learning outcomes in a technology-rich teaching and learning environment in higher education. As a result, this paper is expected to contribute in the support with an initiative in the learning performance.
In the learning method of Lampung language in Junior High School 1 Pugung still using conventional method so that the learning process of Lampung language in Junior High School 1 Pugung become less interactive and less fun so that the students pay less attention to what is delivered by the teacher. Lampung language is one of the regional languages in Indonesia, the language of Lampung itself must be studied when students who are in Lampung province who sit in junior high school. So the author makes a multimedia application using Adobe Flash which is used for learning Lampung language in Junior High School 1 Pugung become more interactive and fun, thus helping students to focus in learning Lampung language.
AbstrakPendekatan pendidikan agama terbentuk karena dipengaruhi oleh faktor sejarah, budaya, sosial, dan politik. Namun, baik sistem pendidikan sekuler maupun sistem pendidikan agama tradisional, tidak mampu membawa perkembangan yang maju dalam masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan agama harus berevolusi dan mengkombinasikan dengan pendidikan sekuler, dan pendekatan inovatif dalam pembelajaran serta fasilitas yang relevan dengan perkembang teknolongi untuk mendukung pendidikan. Proses pendidikan berkembang di banyak negara berubah secara radikal, dari madrasah tradisional ke sekolah lokal, dan kemudian ke menjadi pendidikan sistem Eropa. Kurikulum pendidikan harus mendorong terciptanya proses belajar dengan pengamatan sistematis, penalaran kuantitatif dan ekspresi ilmiah. Alat pembelajaran harus melibatkan siswa dengan penciptaan melalui observasi, gambar dan catatan deskriptif, eksplorasi, artikulasi, dan komunikasi dengan sesama siswa. Makalah ini menganalisis kombinasi dari kedua orientasi struktural dan budaya pada kebutuhan yang diidentifikasi mengarah ke fasilitasi di lingkungan belajar, menerapkan pengetahuan untuk berlatih, dan akhirnya dievaluasi untuk pemenuhan atau identifikasi gap, demi memajukan pembelajaran atau pengembangan terhadap pemanfaatan dan pertumbuhan yang konstruktif.
