<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study aims to describe the tolerant behavior contained in poems by high school students. This research uses a qualitative approach based on the theory of sociological literature. The results showed that tolerant behavior contained in poems by students in the form of (1) respecting others, (2) accepting and valuing differences, (3) being open to others, and (4) accepting differences of opinion. Tolerant behavior in poetry high school students tends to be aimed at the closest people, namely mothers and friends. Tolerant behavior is also aimed not only at fellow human beings but also at other living things.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku toleran yang terdapat dalam puisi karya siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berdasarkan teori sosiologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku toleran yang terdapat dalam puisi karya siswa berupa (1) menghargai orang lain, (2) menerima dan menghargai perbedaan, (3) bersikap terbuka terhadap orang lain, dan (4) menerima perbedaan pendapat. Perilaku toleran dalam puisi karya siswa SMA cenderung ditujukan kepada orang terdekat, yakni ibu dan sahabat. Perilaku toleran juga ditujukan tidak hanya kepada sesama manusia, namun juga kepada makhluk hidup lain.
This article contains conceptual ideas about innovative learning methods that can be used for learning to write poetry. This method is an ATM method. The ATM method stands for observing, writing, and modifying. As the name implies, this learning method has three main syntaxes, namely observing, writing, and modifying. Each syntax is translated back into a more specific syntax. This ATM method is implemented in learning to write poetry with environmental insight.
This article seeks to identify the cultural ecological values contained in the Orang-orang Proyek novels, as well as their role as environmental conservation media. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with data analysis step (1) data classification, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, (4) data analysis and interpretation, and (5) drawing a conclusion. The results of this study indicate the existence of cultural ecological values in the Orangorang Proyek novel (1) the representation of nature in the cultural perspective and (2) the harmonization of human, nature, and culture. The value of cultural ecology in this novel can be used as media to arouse readers in environmental conservation efforts.
Ihsan, novel, kambing dan hujan This paper tries to identify the Ihsan behavior contained in the Kambing dan Hujan novel by Mahfud Ikhwan. Ihsan behavior is identified from the behavior of charity, patience, jihad, and fear. This paper uses a qualitative approach to examine representations of Ihsan behavior in the Goat and Rain novels. The steps of data analysis in this paper are divided into six specific stages, namely (1) processing and preparing data for the analysis process, (2) reading the entire data to find general meaning, (3) initiating data codification, (4) applying coding to describe the domains, participants, categories, and themes analyzed, (5) presentation of descriptions and themes in the form of narratives, and (6) making interpretations.
