ABSTRACT INTRODUCTION: Osteoarthritis is a symptom that often comes in elderly people with chronic progressive conditions that can cause movement disorders and can interfere with daily activities. Isometric exercise is one of the non-operative treatment methods in reducing pain and improving the functional ability of Osteoarthritis patients. This exercise is very helpful for reducing joint torment and can further develop work in patients with intense agony and ongoing torment Osteoarthritis. This review intends to decide the impact of isometric exercise on changes in knee torment in essential osteoarthritis Method: This sort of exploration is a semi trial utilizing One Group Pretest and Posttest plan. Complete populace of 30 individuals with a conclusion of osteoarthritis who met the consideration and prohibition measures. Irregular inspecting with tests in this review, to be specific all patients with essential osteoarthritis matured 50 years and over, adding up to 15 individuals with male and female sexual orientation Result: Isometric exercise was allowed double seven days for quite a long time and knee torment was estimated utilizing a VAS (Visual Analog Scale) estimating instrument. With the Wilcoxon test, the middle worth of pre 6.53 and post was 4.40 with a distinction of 2.13. So the P esteem is 0.000<0.05. So the outcomes acquired in this review demonstrate that there is an impact of giving isometric exercise on reducing knee pain in primary osteoarthritis in the Physiotherapy poly at RSUD dr. H. Moh. Anwar Sumenep. Discussion: the outcomes acquired in this review demonstrate that there is an impact of giving isometric exercise on reducing knee pain in primary osteoarthritis. So primary osteoarthritis patients can do isometric exercise independently so very helpful for reducing joint torment in patients. Keywords: Isometric exercise, knee pain, osteoarthritis primer
Sehingga, nilai P sebanyak 0.00 <0.05. Maka ditarik kesimpulan pada pemberian contract relax stretching pemain sepak bola usia 12-14 tahun secara signifikan mengalami peningkatan fleksibilitas hamstring.
Objective: Stability is the ability of maintaining static and dynamics equilibrium, which influenced the falling incident and the capability in doing everyday activities of elderlies . The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of tandem walking exercise for stability on elderly people. Methods: This research is quasi experiment with pre and post-test one group design. The samples are 30 people that distributed into one group who were given tandem walking exercise three times a week for two weeks. Assessment of the stability is assessed using Time Up and Go Test (TUGT). Results: The result of hypothesis tests with kolmogorov- smirnov obtained that there is an impact from tandem walking exercise for for stability on elder. Different pre test and post test using paired samples t-test showed p=0.000(p<0.05) which means there is a change o influence. Conclusion: Tandem walking exercise could improve stability on elderly people.
