Objective: This study was conducted to analyze whether myofascial release therapy and ultrasound intervention had an effect on reducing the intensity of upper trapezius pain with upper trapezius myofascial syndrome in patients at Semen Gresik Hospital. Methods: This article uses pre and post test experiments conducted on 20 patients with myofascial syndrome upper trapezius pain at Semen Gresik Hospital. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with the sampling technique according to predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: Myofascial release exercise therapy and ultrasound intervention had a significant effect on reducing myofascial pain syndrome upper trapezius in 20 patients at Rs. Semen Gresik as the respondent. Significant results between myofascial release exercise therapy and ultrasound intervention on myofascial pain syndrome upper trapezius were shown from asymp. sig. 2-tailed in the Wilxocon signed rank test is 0.000 <0.05. Conclusion: Myofascial release therapy and ultrasound given to patients had a significant effect on reducing myofascial pain syndrome upper trapezius in 20 patients at Rs. Semen Gresik with significant results asymp. sig. 2-tailed in the Wilxocon signed rank test is 0.000 <0.05.
Osteoarthrits is a degenerative joint disease that includes cartilage damage with symptoms of pain during the pressure of the joints which are influenced by genetics, age, gender and weight. Knee osteoarthritis is one of the ten other diseases that cause disability due to activity daily living disorders in developing countries. The purpose of this activity is to provide information about facts and myths related to osteoarthritis through education so that patients and the public in general can receive correct information and make appropriate health efforts. In this study, a preliminary study was carried out to obtain data on persepi or myths related to osteoarthrtitis of the knee that causes kinesopobia and potential disability. The next stage is carried out the formulation of priority problems with the ultrasound matrix (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) obtained the highest score, namely in knee osteoarthritis pain must rest not be used activity. The next stage is to study the problem with a fishbone diagram using 5 M (Man, Money, Machine, Materials, and Measurement). Then the solution carried out is the education of facts and myths in an effort to prevent disability due to osteoarhtritis of the knee at the second level hospital dr. Soepraoen, Malang.
Objective: To determine whether core strengthening exercise has an effect on static balance in children with ADHD at Wates Physiotherapy, Kediri.Methods: This article used pre and post test experiments conducted on 15 pediatric patients with ADHD. The core strengthening exercise was carried out for 4 weeks with a meeting intensity of 12 times (3 times a week).Results: Core strengthening exercise in the first week had no significant effect on static balance with a significant value of 0.055>0.05. Meanwhile, at weeks 2 to 4, it showed a significant effect with a significant result of 0.001 at week 2 and 0.000 <0.05 at weeks 3 and 4.Conclusion: Core strengthening exercise has a significant effect on improving static balance in children with ADHD in a training period of more than 1 week (minimum 2 weeks to 4 weeks / 1 month). The average of static balance increase on 15 child with ADHD after 1 month of exercise seen from the stork test is 1,54.
Objective : To analyze the effect of giving strengthening exercise to neck pain due to spasm of the upper trapezius muscle in the contra lateral area in health workers at Toeloengredjo Hospital Pare KediriMethods : This article uses pre and post test trials conducted on 20 health workers who experience neck pain due to upper trapezius spasm. This strengthening exercise was carried out for 4 weekswith an intensity of 8 meetings (2 times a week).Results: Strengthening exercise in the first and second weeks had no significant effect on reducing neck pain with a significant value effec on reducing neck pain with a significant value with asymp. sig. 2-tailed 1.00 > 0.05. While weeks 3 and 4 experienced a decrease in pain with the value of the 3 week asymp. sig. 2-tailed value 0.025<0.05 and 0.000<0.05 at week 4.Conclusion: Strengthening exercise have an effect on reducing neck pain due to spasem of the upper trapezius contalateral area in internal health workers training health workers training period of more than 1 week (minumum 2 weeks to 4 weeks / 1 month). The average reduction in pain in 20 health workers after ² weeks was seen from the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test with an asymp value. sig. 2-tailed worth 0.000<0.05.
