The sector that has felt the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is the education sector. Education that is carried out using blended learning is chosen by schools so that they can continue the learning process. Increasing student engagement during blended learning is by instilling an adversity quotient in each individual. So that with the adversity quotient in the individual, students will easily change all problems and obstacles in blended learning into a challenge that can be faced by all students. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of adversity quotient to student engagement in blended learning at SMAN X Singosari. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal design. The subjects of this study amounted to 283 students at SMAN X Singosari using cluster sampling technique. Data analysis in this study used simple linear regression analysis using JASP to see the contribution of X to Y. The results showed that there was a significant positive contribution between the adversity quotient variable on student engagement in blended learning at SMAN X Singosari (r = 0.439; p < 0.05). Adversity quotient during blended learning has a positive effect of 19.3% on student engagement. Keywords: Adversity quotient, blended learning, high school students, student engagement
This service aims to develop national character through storytelling literacy culture to realize Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 4 on quality education, ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and increasing lifelong learning opportunities for all. The era of globalization can trigger a threat such as changes in character, culture, and personality. According to the goals that have been described, students should have characters with good quality education and literacy. Fairy tales are one of the media in character building because they have moral and ethical values that can be taught and implemented to students. This service was carried out for 1 month at the Grandfather Aboe Learning Center in Malang City. The method used in this service is carried out through several stages, including counseling, giving examples of reading books effectively to students, implementing book reading practices together, asking questions about the mandate in the story. There was an increase in the number of students and the enthusiasm of participants in the activity in the first week of 15 students to 40 students in the last week, it became a benchmark that this activity was able to attract the community to jointly corperatively form a good personality through the mandate in fairy tales. It is hoped that this service can be an example for the community in the application of fairy tales that are fully mandated and students can practice them in their daily lives. Keywords : Fairy Tales, Character Development, Literacy, Sustainable Development Goals, Abstrak Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan karakter bangsa melalui budaya literasi mendongeng untuk mewujudkan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) nomor 4 tentang pendidikan berkualitas, menjamin pendidikan berkualitas yang inklusif dan merata serta meningkatkan kesempatan belajar sepanjang hayat untuk semua. Era globalisasi dapat memicu sebuah ancaman seperti perubahan karakter, budaya, hingga kepribadian seseorang. Menurut tujuan yang sudah dideskripsikan seharusnya pelajar memiliki karakter-karakter dengan kualitas pendidikan dan literasi yang baik. Dongeng merupakan salah satu media dalam pembentukan karakter karena memiliki nilai moral dan etika yang dapat diajarkan dan diimplementasikan kepada siswa. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan di Rumah Belajar Kakek Aboe Kota Malang. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, antara lain penyuluhan, pemberian contoh membaca buku secara efektif kepada siswa, pelaksanaan praktik membaca buku bersama, tanya jawab mengenai amanat dalam cerita.Terjadi peningkatan jumlah siswa dan antusiasme peserta dalam kegiatan pada minggu pertama sejumlah 15 siswa hingga 40 siswa pada minggu terakhir, hal tersebut menjadi sebuah tolak ukur bahwa kegiatan ini mampu menarik masyarakat untuk bersama-sama secara korperatif membentuk kepribadian yang baik melalui amanat dalam cerita dongeng. Diharapkan pengabdian ini dapat menjadi contoh bagi masyarakat dalam penerapan dongeng yang sepenuhnya diamanatkan dan siswa dapat mengamalkannya dikehidupan sehari-hari.
