This study aims to be able to implement inclusive education policies for Children with Special Needs in Subang Regency, West Java. Children with special needs are someone who has special physical limitations, such as visually impaired, mentally retarded, ADHD, and others. In Indonesia, children with special needs can continue their education to Extraordinary Schools (SLB) where these schools have skilled teachers and are able to provide motivation to learn for students with special needs. The research method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This study describes the policies relating to children with special needs. The data collection techniques required are several policy documents regarding children with special needs in Subang district. After document analysis, the data analysis technique used is the content analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of inclusive education policies in Subang, school as an environment that plays a major role in changes in ABK students requires support from all parties. The role of parents, special schools, experts, universities, special schools, and the government is still considered minimal. School facilities such as facilities and infrastructure are also still limited.
This study aims to determine the patterns of increasing concentration of Special Needs students in Indonesian Elementary Schools. Since these students often have difficulty understanding the educational process, gamification is considered an alternative to improve their learning outcomes and concentration in Elementary School. In this study, a descriptive-qualitative approach was implemented to describe the techniques used by the teacher to improve students’ learning concentration in the classroom. A total of 13 participants, consisting of 4 Elementary School teachers, 4 Special Needs students, 4 parents, and 1 inclusion institution principal, were observed and interviewed. Furthermore, data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and classroom observation. The results showed that there was an increase in the concentration of ADHD students after using gamification media in the learning process. The parents of these students provided adequate support, and the principal’s policy recommended strengthening parental relationships and using gamification media. These results are expected to be useful for teachers and study experts interested in conducting various analyses on ADHD students.
Studi ini berfokus pada memeriksa perkembangan warga global dan bagaimana sekolah mendidik siswa untuk menjadi warga dunia. Lebih khusus lagi, penelitian ini akan berfokus pada budaya atau kegiatan sehari-hari yang dilakukan oleh sekolah dalam mengembangkan sikap dan karakter untuk dapat menjadi warga dunia. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Kemudian, wawancara semi terstruktur dengan guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di sekolah digunakan untuk dapat memperoleh data maksimal tentang budaya sekolah dan Konten pembelajaran yang disampaikan di kelas agar warganya menjadi warga dunia. Untuk dapat menganalisis hasil wawancara, nVivo digunakan untuk dapat menganalisis pernyataan yang dibuat oleh peserta wawancara. Selain itu, analisis isi juga digunakan untuk melihat data dari wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah telah mengajarkan siswa untuk menjadi warga dunia. Berbagai kegiatan internasional seperti Asian student exchange Program, international food festival, dan teaching political literacy menjadi kegiatan agar mahasiswa dapat menjadi warga dunia.
The attitude adopted by many people is called social attitude, social attitude is not only expressed by a person, but is noticed by the people in his group. The object is a social object (the object is many people in the group) and is stated repeatedly. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of angklung practice to improve the social attitudes of low-grade elementary school students in Subang Regency. The object of this research is the student's social attitude. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one group pre-test post-test design. The data collection technique used is a written test and the data analysis used is the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that angklung practice has a positive effect on improving the social attitudes of low-grade elementary school students in Subang Regency. This research can be used as a reference in developing the social attitudes of students in elementary schools through angklung because previous studies focused on regional dances.
