Pasar Jiung adalah pasar tradisional yang berada pada empat sisi jalan di daerah Kemayoran Jakarta Pusat yaitu tepatnya berada pada sisi Jalan Benyamin Sueb, Jalan Haji Ung, Jalan Kemayoran Gempol Barat dan Jalan Kemayoran Gempol Utara. Pada sisi dalam deretan kios-kios pasar tersebut terdapat permukiman padat penduduk. Pada umumnya kios-kior pasar yang ada dimiliki oleh warga dari permukiman tersebut. Mereka berhuni sekaligus berdagang sudah dalam wakrtu yang cukup lama. Namun keberadaan Pasar Jiung beberapa tahun belakangan ini sedikit “terusik” dengan kehadiran pasar temporer yang menempati lokasi yang sama dengan Pasar Jiung yaitu pada ruas Jalan Kemayoran Gempol Barat. Deretan kios pasar temporer ini terbuat dari konstruksi yang bisa dibongkar-pasang. Melihat keberadaan pasar temporer yang masih hadir sampai saat ini menandakan bahwa kehadiran pasar temporer ini telah diterima oleh masyarakat Pasar Jiung. Hipotesa ini diperkuat dengan melakukan penelitian yang menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Adanya hubungan timbal balik yang saling menguntungkan menjadikan alasan utama diterimanya pasar temporer ini. Masyarakat Pasar jiung pun melakukan beberapa penyesuaian dengan hadirnya pasar baru tersebut. Selain Pasar Jiung itu sendiri, daerah di sekitarnya juga melakukan beberapa penyesuaian seting ruang.

Purpose: The community-based tourism concept needs to be understood deeply. We need to know and predict the opportunities and challenges that exist and will occur in the future in developing the community and tourism as a mutualism. This research analyzed the theories to describe it and derive conclusions for the basic concepts of community-based tourism as well as further explore the cases of applying these concepts to gain opportunities and challenges from community-based tourism Research methodology: This study is a conceptual article using the literature review method Results: This study elaborates the concepts, opportunities and challenges of the community-based tourism paradigm. Limitations: This study is a secondary data-based analysis (literature review) on the concept of community-based tourism in the social and cultural context of the community, as well as the opportunities and challenges of its application to tourism development Contribution: This study provides an in-depth and comprehensive view of community-based tourism to assist in exploring approaches and theories in community-based tourism research and planning and policymaking in the tourism sector, especially in the local community aspect.
Southern area of Yogyakarta Special Region is a row of beaches that become a natural tourist attraction for tourists who visit. This beach area stretches from Kulon Progo Regency in the West to Gunungkidul Regency in the East. The visits of tourists in the area, providing changes to local activities that previously existed. This resulted in a variety of potential development activities and interaction patterns that appear in each of its beaches. The changes and developments will be mapped and overlaid to find the development of zone activity on the South Coast of Yogyakarta Special Region. This research will be focused on several beaches in Kulon Progo, Bantul and Gunungkidul regencies. And later this research will be useful for the Government of Yogyakarta, Specifically for Kulon Progo, Bantul and Gunungkidul regencies to develop tourism development policy in South Area of Yogyakarta Special Region.
Nowadays, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta is announced as one of tourism destination in Indonesia. It is confirmed that Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in Regulation of Government No 50 of Government No 50 Year 2011 is belong to 50 national tourism destinations as known as National Tourism Destination Borobudur – Yogyakarta and its surrounding area. To accomplish The Act No 10 Year 2009 on Tourism and Regulation of Government No 50 Year 2011 on Grand Strategy of National Tourism Development, so Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta composed Grand Strategy of Regional Tourism Development that called Regulation of Regional Government No 1 Year 2012 on Grand Strategy of Regional Tourism Development Provence Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. It is expected to give positive multiplier effect for Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta community.
