This research is about marketing communication strategies by Matoa Watches in increasing brand awareness. Marketing communication conducted by Matoa is more focused on marketing communication activities on social media and internet but also done through advertising (advertising), exhibitions, publications, sales promotion and direct marketing to rise a brand awarenes.. In this research, researchers used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using in-depth semi-structured interviews to obtain complete information in accordance with what is needed by researchers. The conclusion from this study shows that every promotion mix undertaken by Matoa not only refers to increasing brand awareness to the community but there are several promotional mixes aimed at increasing sales such as sales promotion and direct marketing.Keywords: Marketing Communication Strategies, Intergrated Marketing Communication (IMC), Brand Awareness¸ Promotion
Strategi komunikasi pemasaran konvensional masih bisa diandalkan di tengah persaingan bisnis dan pasar modern, dengan menggunakan slogan pembeli adalah raja. Strategi komunikasi pemasaran merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan menjadi ujung tombak bagi sebuah perusahaan yang memproduksi barang maupun jasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan bahan kepustakaan berupa buku, jurnal, karya ilmiah, dan lain sebagainya, membuat catatan untuk mempermudah penyusunan hasil penelitian. Data yang diperoleh dikompulasi, dianalisis, dan disimpulkan sehingga memperoleh kesimpulan mengenai strategi pemasaran konvensional di tengah persaingan bisnis dan pasar modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, usaha tanpa strategi pemasaran dapat bertahan di era modern ini dengan model pemasaran konvensional. Waroeng SS menjadi bukti bahwa ketidaktaatan terhadap teori dengan menerapkan slogan konvensional “Pembeli adalah raja”, memberikan nilai promosi dari mulut ke mulut hingga membuktikan keberhasilan usaha warung makanan tersebut. Produksi mengalami peningkatan dengan jumlah outlet yang terus bertambah dan pendapatan yang semakin besar.
This article examines PT. Shopee Indonesia's strategy in increasing sales with Korean celebrity brand ambassadors. Theory used is the integrated marketing communication theory by Kotler & Armstrong (2008) and brand ambassador concept owned by Rossita & Percy (2005). Data analysis is with observation, documentation and interviews of 4 informants by applying case study methods. The results showed choosing GFRIEND as the brand ambassador of Shopee 11.11 Big Sale campaign resulted in the sale of 70 million items sold on November 11, 2019, and sales tripled in the first hour compared to 2018. By running four of eight integrated marketing communication models by Kotler & Armstrong (2008) such as sales promotion, advertising, interactive marketing, and also events and experiences conducted through both mass media, online media, and social media resulted in a third quarter achievement of 2019 PT. Shopee Indonesia increased by 261,1% or equivalent to 257,2 million dollars, as well as Gross Merchandising Value (GMV) of 69,9% or equivalent to 4,6 billion dollars compared to 2018. This means that making GFRIEND as a brand ambassador Shopee 11.11 Big Sales is the right strategy and successfully brings PT. Shopee Indonesia to a significant increase in sales.
This research aims to test the significant differences the use of family communication and the pattern of childcare toddlers and teenagers in families living in the Kampung Tugu in north Jakarta, Kampung Condet in East Jakarta and Ujung Harapan in bekasi. This study using quantitative methods of correlational. The results of research shows that the communication in childcare on the community in Kampung Tugu of north Jakarta, more affected from ways obtained from earlier the generations. The average betawi people in their religious pillar of the nazarenes, some are muslim. For people who follow the Islamic religion, they to develop a pattern of parenting in the family in Islamic way. The Betawi Community of Kampung Condet in East Jakarta, further develop ways a family tradition which are influenced by arab cultures ways. So they develop more into islamic ways. Also betawi people on Kampung Ujung Harapan in Bekasi, almost the entire community on Kampung Ujung Harapan Bekasi are moeslim. So that childcare more patterns dominated by islamic ways which were inherited from earlier generations. A pattern to the consistence of parenting in educating if compared between toddlers and teenagers, the community in Kampung Tugu more dominant educate young teen, while the Kampung Condet and Kampung Ujung Harapan directing consistency educate in toddlers and teenagers.

Pola IntervensiPendidikan diduga dapat membantu untuk membina pelajar untuk lebih berkreativitas kepada hal-hal yang positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Interaksional Simbol dari Goerge HerbertMead sebagai dasar analisisnya. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metodekualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan data primer wawancara dengan guru dan siswa pada 2sekolah Menegah Atas di kota Bekasi. Analisis data menggunakan trianggulasi data dan metode.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pola Intervensi pendidikan yang dilakukan guru pengajardan guru Pembina pada SMA di Kota Bekasi berorientasi pada tanggungjawab, berorientasi padaprestasi, dan berorientasi pada kreativitas. Komunikasi interaksional diterapkan dalampengembangan kurikulum dan pada pelaksanaan mata pelajaran. Komunikasi interaksionaldilaksanakan dalam proses pembelajaran, proses kegiatan, dan proses pelaksanaan tugas.Dikembangkan dengan menggunakan simbol verbal dengan kata-kata yang bersifat memotivasi.Pola pembinaan yang dilakukan oleh guru pengajar dan guru pembina kegiatan dilakukan untukmengembangkan sikap keterbukaan, pengelolan emosi, dan sikap optimis. Itu semua dilakukandengan menekankan sikap disiplin dan sikap bertanggungjawab pada siswa.
