The Indonesian nation is known as a pluralistic nation (religion, culture, language, customs). The plurality of the nation brings two consequences, namely strength, and conflict. Become a strength if the Indonesian people are able to accept pluralism, and becomes a conflict if they cannot accept pluralism. Of course, we all hope that this plurality will become the strength of the nation. Therefore, it is necessary to build the strength of this nation with its plurality. One of the efforts that can be done to build the strength of religious communities is to build an attitude of religious moderation. Efforts to build students’ religious moderation can be done in various ways, one of which is through problem-based learning. The purpose of this study is to reveal the problem-based learning of the Islamic Religion as an effort to build students’ religious moderation attitudes in public universities. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach and survey. The subjects of this study were Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa students from the faculty of teacher training and education in the Islamic Religion course. Data is collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The research was conducted by observing Islamic religious learning and strengthening it by studying learning documents. The results show that problem-based Islamic learning can shape students' religious moderation attitudes.
Stres akademik di kalangan mahasiswa bisa terjadi karena kesiapan pembelajaran yang kurang baik. Pandemi menyebabkan pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring tanpa ada persiapan yang matang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesiapan pembelajaran daring terhadap stres akademik mahasiswa dan perbedaan tingkat stres akademik antara mahasiswa dan mahasiswi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskripsi analisis dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari 246 mahasiswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran daring. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala kesiapan pembelajaran daring yang berjumlah 22 item untuk mengukur tiga sub-aspek yaitu self directed learning, Technical Readiness dan Comfort with non-face to face communication. Pengukuran stres akademik menggunakan Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale 42 (DASS 42) yang berjumlah 49 item untuk mengukur tiga sub-aspek yaitu indikator fisik (14 item), indikator psikis/mental (18 item) dan indikator perilaku (17 item). Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan pembelajaran daring berhubungan positif dengan stres akademik mahasiswa dan ada perbedaan tingkat stres akademik dan kesiapan pembelajaran daring antara mahasiswa dan mahasiswi. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting bagi para dosen untuk memperhatikan kesiapan pembelajaran daring para mahasiswa.
This study aims to analyze the profile of critical thinking skills of PGSD students in learning science concepts. Critical thinking indicators used as a reference in observing critical thinking in this study include: analyzing, predicting, designing ideas. The research carried out includes the type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. where the data were analyzed by calculating the cognitive ability score with a scoring technique with corrections to guess answers. The research subjects for the third semester students of PGSD UST Yogyakarta are 80 students for the 2021/2022 academic year. The results showed that the critical thinking skills of PGSD students from grades A and B had critical thinking skills with an average (medium) scale of 23.75%, then critical thinking abilities with low criteria of 33.75%. Furthermore, students who have very high critical thinking skills are 6.25%. While those with very low criteria are only 36.25%.
Education is the basis for the formation of character and personality of every human being as well as a form of independence for his body and soul. One of the educational figures who has been instrumental until now is Kihajar Dewantara with his Tamansiswa teachings in bringing the Indonesian people to outer and inner independence, freedom from ignorance, and oppression. However, the longer the Tamansiswa teachings are getting left behind, they are even referred to as educational teachings that are not in accordance with Islamic teachings. This problem is important to be studied more deeply, for the purpose of this research is to integrate the values of Tamansiswa teachings with educational verses in the Holy Qur’an so that it can bring up an understanding of the concept of religious-nationalist education. The type of research in this paper includes qualitative research with content analysis methods in the form of the values of Tamansiswa teachings and educational verses in the Koran with a maudhu'I interpretation approach. From the research, it was found that there is strong integration between the values of Tamansiswa teachings and educational verses in the Holy Qur’an
