Puis c’est la postérité des marranes et du marranisme qui sera abordée, avec les Xuetes de Majorque, l’œuvre d’Albert Cohen et l’évolution du concept sous la plume du sociologue Edgar Morin. L’auteur cherche donc à définir la trajectoire des marranes et du marranisme à travers les siècles et la pensée, jusqu’à nos jours.
