The paper presents the potential areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) for injecting CO 2 into underground geological formations by boreholes. Areas are determined based on the geological structure of Bosnia ana Herzegovina, and development of Miocene formations which are the most prevalent in the northern and northeastern parts of the country, in the central part of country and southwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore paper gives an overview of potentials for injecting CO 2 into abandoned coal mines, and abandoned salt mine.
SUMMARYIn the rock salt deposit "Tetima" by analysis of situation and pore (layers) pressures and fracturing pressures development it has been proved that the values of pore and fracturing pressures are quite low (in the part of deposit which is currently exploited) and on the border of use salt water such as fluid for canal rinse in some drilling intervals. That especially relates to the'' weak'' breccia layer, stationed just above rock salt series, which is rated as most likely zone of drilling fluid loss and hermeticity loss of all constructed boreholes in that part of deposit. Calculated values of pore pressures, fracturing pressures and their gradients indicate on need for correction of existing boreholes construction on the rock salt deposit ''Tetima''. Analysis results of six constructed boreholes are presented in this paper, by analytical and graphical method.
Ključne riječi: otpad iz naftne industrije, odlaganje otpada, utiskivanje otpada pomoću bušotina, sredine pogodne za utiskivanje, praćenje utiskivanja DISPOSAL OF WASTE GENERATED DURING RESEARCH AND EXPLOATATION OF OIL AND GAS WITH INJECTION WELLS IN UNDERGROUND AND POSSIBILITY TO MONITOR INJECTION ABSTRACTInjection of a slurry used for the disposal of industrial waste generated during the research and exploatation of oil and gas. This waste is mostly formation water, drilling fluid that was used during drilling, fine grained oil sand and oil contaminated water. This method of waste disposal can be expanded to large volumes of solid and liquid waste at reasonable cost and low risk to the environment, where technical factors seem favorable. In this paper the conditions to be satisfied by the environment in which to waste engraved, as well as controls related to its injection. Considering that during the injection of solid particles generated stress changes and orientation of fracture, injection processes are monitored using wells and the induced displacement field. Most of the sedimentary basin has favorable characteristics for performance fracture injection mixture and with a favorable choice of fully ensure their long-term safety.Key words: waste from the petroleum industry, disposal of waste, injection waste with wells, the environment suitable for injection, injection monitoring
U ovom radu dat je pregled rezultata dosadašnjih istraživanja te dodatno data procjena kvaliteta uglja izvršena metodom krigovanja uz korištenje savremenih računarskih softvera i odgovarajuću geostatističku obradu s ciljem potvrde ekonomske opravdanosti eksploatacije ležišta "Brezove Dane".Ključne riječi: ugalj, krigovanje, geostatistika, potencijal POTENTIAL OF COAL IN "ZEPCE-NOVISEHER" BASIN CASE STUDY OF DEPOSIT "BREZOVE DANE"ABSTRACT Interest in coal in the wider area of "Novi Seher" is present for many years but exploitation has never started. Notable detailed studies were performed during the period 1982-1988 financed by, "Natron" from Maglaj and Coal Mine "Durđevik" from Durđevik. Based on the interests of investors, detailed geological exploration and elaboration of coal reserves in this area have mainly been conducted on a smaller area -the northeastern part of basin, on deposit "Brezove Dane". This paper provides an overview of the results of previous studies and further provides an assessment of the quality of coal executed through method of kriging with the use of modern computer software and the appropriate geostatistical treatment with the aim of confirm the economic feasibility of exploitation of deposit "Brezove Dane".
This paperwork included the complex process of collecting and processing data for observed area. Very complex geological relations in this area have caused complex hydrological conditions which in combination with the hydrological and climatic characteristics represent a complex hydrogeological system. Further research in this area would contribute to confidence defining this area in the hydrological sense.
