Pandemik Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) yang melanda Malaysia dan seluruh dunia telah memberi implikasi yang sangat besar kepada pelbagai sektor termasuklah sektor pendidikan negara. Ia menuntut setiap pelajar untuk beradaptasi dengan sistem pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) secara dalam talian daripada sistem konvensional yang sedia ada. Proses adaptasi ini memerlukan pelajar untuk mempunyai strategi daya tindak yang bersesuaian agar dapat mendepani tekanan akademik yang berlaku. Justeru, kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk meninjau cabaran pembelajaran dalam talian dalam kalangan pelajar, impak tekanan akademik terhadap kesejahteraan kendiri dan strategi daya tindak yang boleh diaplikasikan oleh pelajar. Maklumat yang diketengahkan adalah berdasarkan kajian perpustakaan melalui kaedah analisis kandungan. Teori Kesejahteraan Psikologi atau Psychological Well-being (PWB) telah diadun bersama Teori Transaksional Tekanan dan Daya Tindak Lazarus dan Folkman bagi merungkai permasalahan yang wujud ini. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat pelbagai faktor dalaman dan luaran yang menjadi cabaran kepada pembelajaran dalam talian yang memberi natijah terhadap tekanan akademik. Di Malaysia, kajian berkaitan cabaran pembelajaran dalam talian semasa norma baharu yang mencetuskan tekanan akademik masih lagi terhad dan minima. Oleh itu, kajian ini dapat menjadi satu platform dan sumber rujukan baru khususnya terhadap institusi pendidikan di negara ini bagi memastikan sistem pembelajaran dalam talian dapat dilaksanakan dengan efisien serta dimanfaatkan secara optimum oleh setiap pelajar di Malaysia.
Due to the worrying relapse rates recovering addicts fall prey into regardless after receiving treatment and discharged from rehabilitation custody, an integrated psych spiritual module or specifically named Guided Repentance Module had been developed by researchers to curb this grappling relapse issue. Outlined in the this Islamic psych spiritual module are Islamic Sufism principles combined with interpersonal and intrapersonal elements, and is intervened by means of psycho-educational method delivery. Hence, this paper is undertaken to examine the effectiveness of a Guided Repentance Module intervened towards addicts, from a qualitative analysis of psych spiritual and drug-related locus of control, which act as the weightages in the module. This study employed an interview method with 38 participants from a selected rehabilitation center in Malaysia. The data collected is analyzed by using content analysis and several themes have been extracted from the participants' feedback. From the findings, with respect to drug-related locus of control aspect, there are three themes which are i) emotions control, ii) understanding the importance of support system and iii) relapse prevention strategies. Whereas, for psych spiritual aspects, five themes have been derived. They are categorized as, i) the enhancement of faith in God existence, His Power, His Greatness and dependence to God in recovery, ii) having positive reflection in God's fate, iii) the control of desire, iv) emulation of Rasulullah PBUH's characters and v) the heightened understanding about Heaven and Hell. Thus, it was concluded that Guided Repentance Module is proven as effective as their sense of locus of control is enhanced for them to be fully responsible on their behaviors and psych spiritual dimension is complemented accordingly as internal strengths for them to maintain abstinence in recovery.
The fluctuating number of relapse cases among the drug addicts in Malaysia has been creating many worries to all parties. This urges the parties to this problem to restudy its contributing factors, improve current treatments employed and discover the other potential dimensions of human to accommodate the very need of the drug addict clients to stay abstinent. Considering the psychosocial and vocational elements we have had in current practices that seemingly provide a room for improvement, the new dimension of human psychospiritual approach was particularly put forth in this research. The Islamic psychospiritual model centring on Islamic Sufism principles in combination with Interpersonal and Intrapersonal elements was established in this research as the guiding principles to develop an Integrated Psychospiritual Module (IPM) in reducing relapse rate. This module was particularly focusing on the weightage of drug-related locus of control and psychospiritual level of drug addicts to stay abstinent. The effectiveness of the module was measured by imposing it as psycho-educational intervention treatment upon the purposive sampling of 38 clients in a drug rehabilitation center in Malaysia. One group experimental design was suitably formed and t-Test analysis was used to measure the significant difference between the pre and post test mean values to see the effectiveness of the module by using two specific instruments that measure both aformentioned aspects.
