For the experienced reader, sensitivity for peripheral zone tumor was increased by use of either a semiquantitative or quantitative model compared with a qualitative model and decreased by requiring washout. We failed to identify a difference in performance between semiquantitative and quantitative models.

Gadofosveset trisodium facilitates comprehensive high-resolution arterial and venous MR angiography. Because of its prolonged intravascular residence time, gadofosveset trisodium is particularly useful for evaluating venous, dynamic, and functional vascular disease with a single low-dose contrast injection.

Fluoroscopically captured images are adequate in documenting absence of VUR on VCUG examinations, obviating the need for radiographic spot images and resulting in reduction in radiation exposure.
