Cultivation of medicinal plants in the garden system can meet the needs of increasing the immune system for the people of Jati Bali Village. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to the community about the cultivation of medicinal plants and spices in the garden system as well as the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer from household waste as an alternative to meeting the needs of increasing the immune system during a pandemic. Activities that have been carried out to achieve the objectives of the Internal Community Partnership Program (PKMI) are through mass and group outreach to partners, training, and plot demonstrations. Through this activity, partners in Jati Bali Village have been able to cultivate medicinal plants and spices in the dasa wisma garden system. Partners who are actively involved in the activity have been able to produce liquid organic fertilizer from household waste.
Hidroponik merupakan suatu seni bertanam dengan menggunakan media air atau media tanam lainnya selain tanah, atau dapat dikatakan budidaya tanaman tanpa tanah. Wick System (sistem sumbu) merupakan salah satu model hidroponik dan sistem ini dinilai mudah serta murah terutama untuk kalangan pemula. Ketersediaan unsur hara dan kehadiran media tanam yang tepat akan menentukan tingkat pertumbuhan tanaman tersebut. Konsep tersebut merupakan dasar tujuan dari penelitian ini. Penelitian dilakukan di Lahan Pekarangan Perumahan Dosen Blok R No.2, Kampus Baru Andounohu dan Lab. Agroteknologi Unit Agronomi, Fakultas Pertanian, dengan menerapkanRancangan Acak Lengkap. Adapun perlakuannya, antara lain Arang sekam + tanpa POC, Arang sekam + POC air cucian beras (10 mL/L air), Arang sekam + POC air tahu (10 mL/L air), Cocopeat + tanpa POC, Cocopeat + POC air cucian beras (10 mL/L air), Cocopeat + POC air tahu (10 mL/L air), Arang sekam + Cocopeat + tanpa POC, Arang sekam + Cocopeat + POC air cucian beras (10 mL/L air), Arang sekam + Cocopeat + POC air tahu (10 mL/L air). Parameter yang akan diamati dalam penelitian ini, antara lain tinggi tanaman (cm), panjang daun (cm), jumlah daun(helai), dan lebar daun (cm), rata-rata berat basah tanaman, dan bobot Kering Tajuk serta Akar (gr) yang dihitung dengan mengeringkan hasil panen dengan menggunakan oven pada suhu 800 C selama 2 x 24 jam. Hasil analisis data statistika menunjukkan adanya pengaruh nyata media tanam dan pemberian POC terhadap laju pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman pakcoy. Perlakuan POC Air Beras dan media tanam berupa arang sekam + cocopeat memberikan hasil yang terbaik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya untuk parameter vegetatif tanaman. Adapun berat kering dan berat basah, perlakuan A0 memberikan hasil tertinggi, namun tidak berbeda nyata secara statistika dengan perlakuan AC1.
Peanut is a plant food with high economic value because of their nutritional content, especially protein, and high fat. The nut land needs from year to year continue to increase in line with the increase in number population, nutritional needs of the community, food diversification, and increasing feed and food industry capacity. The present study aimed to determine the effectiveness of bio-organic fertilizers in producing local peanuts (Wadaga) from Muna Island, Indonesia. The randomized block design (RBD) was done with 12 bio-organic fertilizer treatments (T1 to T12) based on arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi (AMF) and cow manure fertilizer (CMF). The variables were viz. pod weight, total pod number, filled pod number, percentage of empty pods, seed number, the weight of 100 seeds, dry seed weight, and productivity were observed. The results of the study showed that the highest average pod weight (55.0 g), total pod number (50.3 pods), filled pod number (46.3 pods), and seed number (84.3 seeds) occurred with the treatment of T8: A2B1 ( AMF 10 g per plant + CMF 3 kg per plot). The highest average productivity was obtained with T3: A0B2 (without AMF + CMF 6 kg per plot) as 3.97 tons ha-1. The use of mycorrhizal fungi combined with organic fertilizers can improve the growth of peanut plants which has a positive impact on their production.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pupuk hayati Biofresh dan bahan organik Bokashi dalam meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman jagung terhadap penyakit karat daun Puccinia (Puccinia polysora). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Konda I, Kecamatan Konda, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Metode Percobaan menggunakan Rancakan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Pola Faktorial yang terdiri dari 8 kombinasi perlakuan dan ulangan 3 kali sehingga terdapat 24 unit percobaan. Parameter yang diamati adalah Intensitas Penyakit (IP) karat daun Puccinia, LDBKPP, IPP, dan Analisis Aktivitas Enzim Peroksidase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pupuk hayati Biofresh dan bahan organik Bokashi mampu meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman terhadap pengakit karat daun Puccinia pada tanaman jagung. Nilai LDBKPP terendah pada perlakuan A1B1 sebesar 220,37%.hari, IPP tertinggi pada perlakuan A1B1 sebesar 51,74% dan aktivitas enzim peroksidase tertinggi pada perlakuan A1B1 sebesar 0,13 unit.mg–1.
This PKMI activity will apply POP technology (organic plus fertilizer) which is environmentally friendly in the community living in Wakadia Village, Muna Regency, both non-productive and productive communities in the agricultural sector. Wakadia village is an agricultural area with land conditions that continue to grow vegetables throughout the year using chemical fertilizers so that this will have an impact on decreasing the condition of soil nutrients and have an impact on the health of the people of Wakadia village. In this New Normal era, healthy and nutritious nutrition is urgently needed to increase the resistance or immunity of the local community, so that to fulfill this nutrition organic vegetables that are free of chemicals are needed. Therefore, POP technology is needed to improve the quality of soil nutrients, increase production and obtain organic vegetable crops. In the village of Wakadia there are also many agricultural wastes and livestock manure that are abundant but have not been optimally processed so that they do not provide added value to the village community, so PKMI activities must be carried out to improve environmental conditions that have been polluted due to the use of chemical fertilizers, and also can increase the income of the local community by utilizing existing waste to be used as organic fertilizer. Where organic fertilizer has a higher price than livestock manure that has not been processed. Thus, the solution offered in this PKMI activity is the application of technology in changing the use of chemical fertilizers with the use of POP technology so that farming land is even more productive. The forms of technology applied to the community in this service are (1) technology for making organic fertilizer plus (2) technology for packaging organic fertilizer plus (3) technology for marketing horticultural crops through online media (Facebook and Watshap).
