This study is motivated by learning low organized games as a support in improving physical fitness. This study aims to develop a low organized games learning program in physical education to improve students physical fitness. The method used in this study is an experiment with a pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study were fifth grade students. The sample in this study was 62 students This study was conducted as many as 12 meetings. Data processing using SPSS software version 22.00 for Windows. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the implementation of learning low organized games on the degree of physical fitness students, there was a significant effect of the application of control group learning on the physical fitness degree of students, and learning of low organized games was more influential compared to control group learning on physical fitness degrees of students. AbstrakStudi ini dilatarbelakangi pembelajaran low organized games sebagai penunjang dalam meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program pembelajaran low organized games dalam pendidikan jasmani untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini yaitu eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. Populasi dalam studi ini yaitu siswa kelas V. Sampel dalam studi ini sebanyak 62 siswa. Studi ini dilakukan sebanyak 12 kali pertemuan. Analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 22.00 for Windows. Hasil studi menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan pembelajaran low organized games terhadap derajat kebugaran jasmani siswa, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan pembelajaran kelompok kontrol terhadap derajat kebugaran jasmani siswa, dan pembelajaran low organized games lebih berpengaruh dari pembelajaran kelompok kontrol terhadap derajat kebugaran jasmani siswa.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the status and pattern of physical growth and development of elementary school students in Indonesia, by measuring students' anthropometric dimension. Participants in this study were elementary students from partner schools consisting of 5 schools, involving students from grade 1 to grade 6, both boys and girls. The research method to be employed is cross-sectional survey. The instrument is an anthropometric measuring instruments consisting of a meter, calliper, and stopwatch and scales. The collected data is used to assess the status and pattern of growth and development of elementary students. The results of the study are expected to be used as recommendations for improving the quality of physical education lessons and the consideration of the local government to improve the quality of school policies in terms of physical and health activities of school students.
The education system in the Philippines has changed because it refers to the United Nations program, the Sustainable Development Goals. One of the changes is that each student is required to attend the Daily Physical Activity program before starting learning. This research is conducted at Malacampa Elementary School-Main, Tarlac City, Philippines. The purpose of this study is to determine what impacts occur after the implementation of the Daily Physical Activity which is carried out every morning in the long run. Daily Physical Activity is done by dancing 10 to 15 minutes. This type of research is an ex-post-facto study in which the researcher examines a program that is happening in the Philippines. Researchers take samples of one class, named class 6 SSES, amounting to 27 students. Based on the results of this study, there are positive impacts in the form of children being more enthusiastic in doing daily tasks and negative in the form of students feeling bored with less varied songs and movements.AbstrakSistem Pendidikan di Filipina berubah karena merujuk program PBB yaitu Sustainable Development Goals. Salah satu perubahannya yaitu setiap siswa wajib mengikuti program Daily Physical Activity sebelum memulai pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan di Malacampa Elementary School-Main, Tarlac City, Philippines. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dampak apa saja yang terjadi setelah diterapkannya Daily Physical Activity yang dilakukan setiap pagi hari dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Daily Physical Activity yang dilakukan adalah menari 10 sampai 15 menit. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto di mana peneliti meneliti program yang sedang terjadi di Filipina. Peneliti mengambil sampel satu kelas, yaitu kelas 6 SSES yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini yaitu adanya dampak positif berupa anak lebih antusias dalam melakukan tugas gerak di kesehariannya dan negatif berupa siswa merasa bosan dengan lagu dan gerakan yang kurang bervariatif.
Elite sport achievement in early childhood is inseparable from parent financial supports. In Little League Baseball sport, parents invest money to help their children grow and develop optimally. Parents put their hopes and aspirations for their children to become a great Indonesian Baseball player. This study aimed at determining the socioeconomic status characteristics of the Little League Baseball athlete parents in West Java. This study used a cross-sectional study method. Sixteen parents volunteered to fill out the Social Economic Status questionnaire via Google Form. Data were analysed using percentage techniques and Spearman correlation test. The results showed that the Socio-Economic Status (SES) of the Little League Baseball athlete parents was in the middle to upper category. The athlete motor development was at a good level. The socio-economic status condition of the Little League Baseball athlete parents, who were included in the middle to upper category, had a beneficial effect on the optimal training process because the training demand fulfilment requires a financial support.
