The article presents a deep socio-philosophical analysis of theatre. The essence of theatre is considered as entirely based on real experiences and on the principle of reality that not necessarily refers to personality and often, being in the world as a community of the ultimate order, only indicates the presence of individuals. The plots offered to the spectator by theatre and theatrical art are considered. The sociological approach in the article appears as a form of obtaining knowledge about actuality in the framework of reality and can indicate the context of what is happening: what people are interested in, why they have this interest and what form it turns into. The institutional approach is used for considering theatre. The characteristics of theatre as a social institution are analyzed. The article presents the findings of the focus group, whose aim was to identify young peoples views as a major socio-demographic group about the place of theatre in the modern space.
The article is dedicated to analysis of the phenomenon of art in the context of creative processes. Creativity is defined within the system of interrelation of the concepts of the one, the other, becoming and emptiness. Emptiness is the only possible form to contain becoming. The concepts related to art, such as beauty, harmony, disharmony, ugliness, the ugly etc. are considered as a reason for highlighting the phenomenon in its givenness and definiteness in the system of creativity.
The article is devoted to studying Sophocles tragedies, such as «Oedipus the King», «Oedipus at Colonus» and «Antigone» in the context of extremely general structures: the other, the self , space, time, destiny, fate. The event line of the tragedies is analyzed by including it in the principle of reality and as a result different sense sequences are created and expressed in certain structures of mental activity, particularly trough analysis and synthesis. Sophocles tragedies create a relevant place in the space of culture, which can be filled with different content.The ideas of Sophocles were developed in the plays of William Shakespeare, Jean-Paul Sartre and many other authors.
