The K-GEM showed KRd is cost-effective, with an ICER of $107,520 per QALY gained against Rd for the treatment of patients with RMM (1-3 prior therapies) at a willingness-to-pay threshold of $150,000. Reimbursement of KRd for patients with RMM may represent an efficient allocation of the healthcare budget.
The ST segment electrical axis in the frontal plane was calculated in 20 patients with an acute inferior myocardial infarction (AIMI) and another 20 patients with the acute phase of pericarditis (AP). The ST segment axis of patients with AIMI ranged from 100 degrees-120 degrees (mean 114 degrees). The ST segment axis of patients with AP ranged from 30 degrees-60 degrees (mean 45 degrees). Thus, the ST segment axis can be used for the differential diagnosis in the early acute phase, especially when there are no other important distinguishing factors between these two conditions.
WTPs. For a WTP of $270,000, the P(CE) for the no screen option was .482 with the TRI distributions and .535 with our revised distributions. ConClusions: In this case, despite the criticism of triangular distributions generally, CEA results were not appreciably different qualitatively or quantitatively with the change to more accepted distributional assumptions. For an intervention with an ICER closer to the CE threshold, the importance may be greater.
The use of bortezomib SQ instead of IV could provide access to a highly efficacious therapy while conferring savings to Mexican public payers. Given non-inferior efficacy, migration from IV to SQ bortezomib results in improved tolerability and reduced administration requirements without reducing clinical benefits from treatment.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
