Patchouli oil contains patchouli alcohol as the main component which is a tricyclic tertiary alcohol sesquiterpene compound that is insoluble in water. Microemulsion is a droplet dispersion technology that combines an insoluble liquid with another liquid. The role of surfactants in helping the dispersion process of microemulsion formulation is by reducing the interfacial tension. Microemulsion is a supersolvents carrier, so that both hydrophilic and lipophilic can be administered through a microemulsion system. The purpose of this study was to formulate patchouli oil into a stable microemulsion preparation. This research was conducted by making 4 preparations of patchouli oil microemulsion containing 5% (F1), 10% (F2), and 15% (F3) patchouli oil, and microemulsion without patchouli oil (F0). Evaluation of microemulsion preparations includes organoleptic test, pH measurement, density determination, viscosity test, freeze and thaw test, centrifugation test, and particle size analysis. The test results showed that the microemulsion containing 5% patchouli oil had the most stable characteristics compared to other formulas.

Research on implementation of proper drug storage system had been done at Puskesmas (public health center) Rawat Inap Sidomulyo Pekanbaru. This research was conducted by observational method using descriptive design study. Data was collected by filling in the check list sheet based on the observations and free guided interviews. The sample in this study was the person in charge (pharmacist) of drug storage and the warehouse at Puskesmas Rawat Inap Sidomulyo Pekanbaru. The result obtained showed that most of drug storage condition at Puskesmas Rawat Inap Sidomulyo Pekanbaru has fulfilled the requirement accordance to Depkes RI 2008 and 2010, which were 80% of drug warehouse condition in good category, 100% of drug storage in very good category and 100% of inventory drug stock in very good category.
Formulasi tablet lepas lambat dari natrium diklofenak telah dilakukan menggunakan matrix pati beras ketan pragelatinisasi. Beras ketan didapatkan dari kampar, provinsi Riau. Hasil uji disolusi selama 8 jam menunjukkan bahwa formula I (Salo) terdisolusi sebesar 97,3%, formula II (Air Tiris) sebanyak 96,7% sedangkan formula III memperlihatkan laju disolusi 87,9% pada sediaan lepas lambat. Berdasarkan laju disolusi dapat , formula III (Rumbio) dipilih sebagai formula terbaik. Hal ini sejalan dengan nilai pengembangan dari matrix yaitu 343,4782%. Kinetika matrix obat memperlihatkan bahwa formula I dan formula II mengikuti perhitungan Korsmeyer-Peppas y= 0,485x + 1,630, r = 0,918 untuk formula I dan y = 0,354x + 1,739, r = 0,860 untuk formula II. Kemudian formula III, kinetikanya dideskripsikan menggunakan perhitungan Higuchi, y = 33,74x - 2,454, r =0,98.
