Di Indonesia implementasi dari pelaksanaan zakat dan wakaf saham masih terbilang baru. Meskipun demikian, aktivitas pada pasar modal syariah Indonesia yang mengalami peningkatan mengalamatkan bahwa zakat dan wakaf atas saham di Indonesia berpotensi sangat besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi peluang ekonomi pada zakat dan wakaf saham. Metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian library research penulis pilih dalam membantu penelitian ini. Penelitian mengungkapkan jika penerapan zakat dan wakaf pada saham hukumnya boleh (mubah). Optimalisasi pemanfaatan saham syariah ini akan sangat berpeluang dan besar potensinya bagi ekonomi jika dilakukan penghimpunan zakat dan wakaf pada saham syariah. Pada tahun 2022, PUSKAS BAZNAS menargetkan bahwa parameter zakat saham perusahaan mampu menyumbang potensional zakat sebesar Rp144 triliun. Dengan pendekatan asumsi, potensi wakaf sendiri diasumsikan jika 50% investor yang berwakaf sejumlah Rp100.000/bulan, sebesar Rp3,9 miliar/bulan akan dihasilkan dari wakaf saham.

High consumer demand, which makes it simple to sell the products of this domestic sector, and a strong desire to grow this cassava chip business in order to boost the local economy are the factors that encourage the development of this business. While there is fierce rivalry in the chip industry, the product doesn't last very long, and the weather can vary, making it impossible to market cassava chips when it rains because there aren't many places to sell them.
