This reserach was conducted to improve conceptual understanding and critical thinking ability of fourth-semester students of the Science education study program, Bengkulu University by applying PBL. The research method used in this study is quasi experimental, which in its implementation uses single class or one group pretest-posttest design. The test question was the instrument used in this study. The findings showed that there was an improvement in students‘ conceptual understanding and critical thinking ability of students‘ since implementing problem-based learning models in environmental chemistry courses. This improvement can be seen from the results of the gain test for each class group on the test of conceptual understanding and critical thinking ability which are in the "medium" category, while the t-test results for concept understanding and critical thinking ability show a significant difference (0.000 <0.05). ), In other words, the implementation of the PBL learning influences the students‘ conceptual understanding and critical thinking ability. Further the implementation of the problem-based learning model in teaching and learning process presents problems with real conditions so that it can stimulate students to not only think and understand at the rote level but also interpret the problem. Quiet in-depth research on the implementation of problem-based learning models in learning is highly recommended to get more comprehensive results.
Religious instructors are people who play a role in providing education, guidance, and information to the community. For this reason, the therapeutic skills of extension workers need to be improved continuously, considering that the success of counseling lies in getting the message to the community. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of therapeutic communication based on aspects of the communicator's ability, acceptance of the communicant, the message conveyed, the use of media, and the effect of the interpretation of a message. The type of research conducted is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects of this research were 32 religious instructors in the city of Padang. The data collection tool uses instrument development in the form of a valid and reliable therapeutic communication questionnaire. The data collection technique used quantitative descriptive analysis with the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that communicators must have the ability to master problems, speak effectively, motivate, look attractive and use appropriate language. Then from the communicant aspect, the extension worker must understand the background and cultural characteristics and the level of need for the communicant for the material presented. The material aspect of the instructor should use structured, monitored, and evaluated material. The use of media in counseling is very supportive of achieving the goals of counseling. Taking into account all these qualifications, the extension worker can avoid misinterpretation of the material presented, so that the target of the extension can be achieved.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik kontrol diri untuk mengendalikan kecanduan internet terhadap pengguna Tiktok. Metode penelitian menggunakan ekperimen dengan onegroup pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 6 orang siswa diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengambilan data mengunakan kuisoner (angket) dengan skala model Likert. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Uji t (paired sample test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan kecanduan penggunaan Tiktok pada siswa setelah diberikan konseling kelompok dengan teknik kontrol diri sebagai treatment. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata skor sebelum diberikan treatment adalah 125,50 dalam kategori tinggi dan setelah diberikan treatment nilai rata-rata skor menjadi 97,00 dalam kategori rendah. Hasil Uji t menunjukkan nilai t=11.461 (p<0,05) jadi terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap penurunan kecanduan penggunaan Tiktok siswa menggunakan teknik kontrol diri.
<p class="IEEEAbtract">Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih ditemukan mahasiswa yang mengalami burnout belajar seperti gejala yang nampak menunda-nunda belajar, tidak memiliki semangat dalam belajar, terlihat jenuh dengan aktivitas belajar, merasa frustasi dengan tuntutan perkuliahan dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas layanan penguasaan konten berbasis digital game based learning untuk mengurangi burnout belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment dengan rancangan One Group Pretest- Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa BK UNIB sebanyak 37 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala burnout belajar dengan model Likert. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memiliki implikasi terhadap kegiatan belajar selanjutnya dan kemajuan program studi bimbingan dan konseling UNIB. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan masukan dalam mengembangkan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang lebih menarik sesuai kebutuhan, terutama dalam layanan penguasaan konten berbasis digital game based learning dengan aplikasi kahoot untuk mengurangi burnout belajar.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrack:</strong> This research is motivated by the fact that students still experience learning burnout such as symptoms that seem to procrastinate in learning, do not have enthusiasm in learning, look bored with learning activities, feel frustrated with the demands of lectures, and so on. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of digital game-based learning content mastery services to reduce learning burnout. This study uses quantitative methods. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of this study were BK UNIB students as many as 37 students. The research instrument used was a learning burnout scale with a Likert model. The results of this study are expected to have implications for further learning activities and the progress of the UNIB guidance and counseling study program. The results of this study imply that it can be used as input in developing more attractive guidance and counseling services as needed, especially in content mastery services based on digital game-based learning with kahoot applications to reduce learning burnout</p>
