This reserach was conducted to improve conceptual understanding and critical thinking ability of fourth-semester students of the Science education study program, Bengkulu University by applying PBL. The research method used in this study is quasi experimental, which in its implementation uses single class or one group pretest-posttest design. The test question was the instrument used in this study. The findings showed that there was an improvement in students‘ conceptual understanding and critical thinking ability of students‘ since implementing problem-based learning models in environmental chemistry courses. This improvement can be seen from the results of the gain test for each class group on the test of conceptual understanding and critical thinking ability which are in the "medium" category, while the t-test results for concept understanding and critical thinking ability show a significant difference (0.000 <0.05). ), In other words, the implementation of the PBL learning influences the students‘ conceptual understanding and critical thinking ability. Further the implementation of the problem-based learning model in teaching and learning process presents problems with real conditions so that it can stimulate students to not only think and understand at the rote level but also interpret the problem. Quiet in-depth research on the implementation of problem-based learning models in learning is highly recommended to get more comprehensive results.
This study aims to improve the quality of student learning outcomes in science subjects class IV / B SDN 013 Bengkulu Utara, using inquiry methods and teaching aids (volcanoes). The subjects in this study were students in class IV/B of SDN 013 Bengkulu Utara, with 24 students, 14 male students, and 10 female students. The study was conducted in 3 stages, namely: pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II where each cycle consisted of 4 stages: Planning, Implementing, observing and reflecting. In this study each meeting ends with an evaluation in the form of test questions. The results of the analysis of mastery learning in pre-cycle are still quite low, namely, the results of students' mastery learning are only 33.33% with an average value of 64.79 After making improvements in learning in the first cycle classical learning completeness increased to 50% with an average value of 66.04. Then in the second cycle an increase of 95.85% with an average of 76.25. Based on the results of the study note that the use of inquiry methode and teaching aids (volcanoes) can improve student learning outcomes in science learning in SDN 013 Bengkulu Utara.
[Implementation of Module Protein Concentration Analysis on Learning Outcomes and Student Response to Biochemical Learning II]. This study aims to look at the effect of the implementation of the use of the "Protein Concentration Analysis" module on student learning outcomes and responses to Biochemical II learning. This research is a type of research and development (Research and Development) which aims to investigate patterns and sequences of growth or change as a function of time. Based on the results of this study it is known that the average pretest score of students before using the module is 56.34 ± 11.65 with the lowest score of 33, and the highest score of 73, and the most scores obtained by students range from 60-69, while the average posttest results the average student after using the module is 84.68 ± 8.67, with the lowest score of 60, and the highest score of 100. Based on the learning outcomes that have been carried out it is known that the learning process using the module gives an increase in learning outcomes in Chemistry Education students VI Semester FKIP UNIB. The results of the questionnaire responses of students to learning activities using modules are in the good category which is at a score of 46.8, and the response of students to the modules used in learning is at a score of 19.2 with good categories. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pola dan perurutan pertumbuhan atau perubahan sebagai fungsi waktu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa nilai pretest rata-rata mahasiswa sebelum menggunakan modul adalah 56,34 ± 11,65 dengan skor terendah 33, dan skor tertinggi 73, dan nilai terbanyak yang diperoleh mahasiswa berkisar pada 60-69, sedangkan hasil posttest rata-rata mahasiswa setelah menggunakan modul yaitu 84,68 ± 8,67, dengan skor terendah 60, dan skor tertinggi 100. Berdasarkan hasil pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa, proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan modul memberikan peningkatan hasil belajar pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia Semester VI FKIP UNIB. Hasil angket respon mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan modul berada pada katagori baik yaitu berada pada skor 46,8, dan respon mahasiswa terhadap modul yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran berada pada skor 19,2 dengan katagori baik. Pertanian yang ramah lingkungan masih menjadi prioritas bagi pemerintah daerah dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan karena diharapkan dapat meningkatkan dan mempertahankan produktivitas tinggi dalam bidang pertanian. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mewujudkan pertanian ramah lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan limbah organik rumah tangga sebagai bahan baku pembuatan kompos dengan Biokativator. Sasaran kegiatan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Nila 4A, KWT Nila 6E dan KWT Lahan Hijau di RT.4 RW.01 Kelurahan Sumber Jaya Kecamatan Kampung Melayu Kota Bengkulu dengan jumlah sasaran sebanyak 45 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu, tahap observasi, tahap penyuluhan, tahap monitoring, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasilnya adalah pupuk kompos yang dihasilkan cukup bagus, tidak ada ulat atau belatung, serta tidak terlalu bau., pupuk kompos dengan karakteristik demikian sangat cocok untuk diaplikasikan pada pertanian. Selain pupuk daun, dari kegiatan ini juga dihasilkan pupuk cair organik yang merupakan sisa cairan dari proses pembuatan pupuk kompos dengan bioaktivator. Setelah kegiatan ini KWT Nila 4A, KWT Nila 6E dan KWT Lahan Hijau di RT.4 RW.01 Kelurahan Sumber Jaya Kecamatan Kampung Melayu Kota Bengkulu diharapkan dapat membuat kompos bioaktivator dengan kualitas bagus dan berdaya jual tinggi.Kata Kunci: bioaktivator; limbah organik rumah tangga; pupuk kompos. Increasing the Productivity of Bioactivator Compost with Organic Household Waste Raw MaterialsABSTRACTEnvironmentally friendly agriculture is still a priority for local governments in sustainable development because it is expected to increase and maintain high productivity in agriculture. This service was carried out with the aim of realizing environmentally friendly agriculture by utilizing household organic waste as raw material for composting with biocativators. The targets of this service are the Women Farmers Group (KWT) Nila 4A, KWT Nila 6E and KWT Green Land in RT.4 RW.01 Kelurahan Sumber Jaya Sub-district Kampung Melayu Bengkulu City with a total target of 45 people. The method used in this service consists of 4 stages, namely, the observation stage, the counseling stage, the monitoring stage, and the evaluation stage. The result is that the compost produced is quite good, there are no caterpillars or maggots, and does not smell too much. Compost with these characteristics is very suitable for application in agriculture. Apart from foliar fertilizers, this activity also produces organic liquid fertilizer, which is the residual liquid from the compost-making process using a bioactivator. After this activity, KWT Nila 4A, KWT Nila 6E and KWT Green Land at RT.4 RW.01 Kelurahan Sumber Jaya Sub-district Kampung Melayu City Bengkulu City are expected to be able to make bioactivator compost with good quality and high selling power.Keywords: bioactivator; household organic waste; compost.
Guru memiliki peran yang penting dalam memperbaiki pertumbuhan masyarakat karena merupakan wadah dalam menciptakan generasi yang kreatif serta daya cipta individu. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mewujudkan peran guru dalam menjadi wadah kreativitas. Keterampilan kerajinan termasuk salah satu aspek yang seharusnya bisa ditekuni agar menjadi acuan kedepannya dalam murid menjadi lebih kreatif serta memiliki ide untuk berbisnis salah satunya usaha kerajinan tangan merajut. Sasaran kegiatan dalam pengabdian ini adalah guru PAUD Sejahtera Kota Bengkulu di Jl.P. Natadirja KM 6.5 No.18 RT.1 RW.001 Kelurahan Jalan Gedang Kota Bengkulu dengan jumlah sasaran sebanyak 12 Orang. pada pengabdian ini terdiri Tahap Pelatihan Peserta diberikan materi mengenai bahan-bahan yang digunakan dalam merajut serta peserta diberikan pengetahuan tentang teknik dasar-dasar dalam merajut dan proses pembuatan produk. Praktek Terbimbing. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah dapat menghasilkan produk kerajinan tangan dari bahan rajut berupa konektor masker jilbab yang dapat digunakan para guru PAUD Sejahtera kedepannya. Pemahaman dan pengetahuan peserta pun memperoleh hasil yang baik yaitu dengan skor rata-rata 8.4.
