The introduction of active teaching methodologies in the medical course was carried out with the aim of promoting the training of a humanized, interprofessional and general professional as one who has critical-reflective thinking and the ability to deal with more support with problem situations. The objective was to search the literature for studies that addressed the use of active methodologies in medical courses. Through electronic databases Google Scholar and Web of Science and in the Periodicals Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), the combinations of keywords were sought: Active Methodologies, Medicine, Teaching. 10 articles that met the studied theme were carefully analyzed, presenting as a result mostly positive aspects in the use of active methodologies, but still with aspects to improve according to the students, aiming to end paradigms rooted by the traditional method, so that there is total application of the concepts that this method brings. It is concluded that the current gradual scenario of changes between traditional methodologies for active methodologies continues to become in the future the only one to be used by medical courses.

The prevalence of Hepatitis C was varied and the main risk factors associated with positive results for hepatitis C were injecting drug use, tattooing and age.
This study aimed at analyzing the psychosocial repercussions of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic on the health of men living in Brazil. For this, we carried out a socio-historical and qualitative study, with the participation of 200 men who answered an online questionnaire. The data collected were processed in the NVIVO12® software, structured by the Collective Subject Discourse method, and analyzed from the epidemic disease theoretical framework proposed by Charles Rosenberg. Our results showed that the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic brought about repercussions of different dimensions that compromised the health of men living in Brazil. The repercussions evidenced were behavioral changes and emergence of new habits due to the pandemic; uncomfortable family situations; impaired affective and sexual relationships; harms in marital relationships; and insecurity and psychological distress. It is important to implement strategies that maximize men’s health literacy, promoting better communication in terms of health, and search for help and suitable information about health/mental health.
