ABSTRAKPeran teknologi informasi sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan dakwah di kalanagn mahasiswa ITB. Dakwah dengan menggunakan IT akan memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dakwah secara manual. Daya jangkau dakwah dengan IT lebih jauh, efektif, dan sederhana. Dakwah dengan cara lama, seperti metode ceramah langsung atau dengan media televisi membutuhkan ruang dan waktu khusus. Bahkan, tidak jarang membutuhkan dana yang besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pilihan bahwa dakwah dengan menggunakan IT akan sangat efektif, namun hasilnya optimal, cepat, dan murah. Penelitian ini diupayakan dapat memberikan jalan keluar dari proses penyampaian dakwah di kalanagn mahasiswa ITB. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa dakwah melalui media sosial (online) terbukti efektif. Hanya dengan satu posting sudah dapat menjangkau dan menginspirasi lebih dari sembilan ratus ribu pembaca. Selain itu, dakwah melalui media sosial juga dinilai lebih efektif dari segi waktu dan tempat, karena tidak diperlukan penyediaan waktu yang banyak ataupun penyediaan tempat khusus. Implikasi dari penggunaan IT, perlu ada niatan yang baik, akhak baik, dan kehati-hatian supaya tidak terjebak pada hal-hal yang tidak diharapkan sebagai ekses dari penggunaan IT. Kata kunci: pendidikan agama islam, mahasiswa, teknologi informasi, dakwah islamiah ABSTRACT Higher education like ITB, is expected as a pioneer in the use of application in the era of information technology nowadays, including in the Islamic Religious Education program. Information technology can be applied in the teaching and learning instruction of Islamic Religious program, as it can be used by the lecturers to deliver Islamic moral values to ITB students. In the context of Islamic preaching in higher education, ICT can be used as a medium to convey IslamicReligious materials, and it practically contributes to the development of Islamic preaching for ITB students. As the Islamic youths, university students can take apart as the agents of change in the development of human resources to face the challenge of globalization era including the fast growth of information technology and the opened-accessibility of ASEAN Economic Community (EAC)
Perkembangan teknologi telah mengubah cara penyebaran komik di Indonesia. Saat ini internet dan media sosial menjadi salah satu media utama penyebaran komik. Salah satu media yang menjadi pilihan tempat menyebarkan dan membaca komik adalah Webtoon. Tulisan ini bermaksud menganalisis wacana homoseksualitas dan maskulinitas yang terdapat dalam komik No Homo karya Apitnobaka yang diterbikan dalam Webtoon. Menggunakan pemahaman Foucault dan Bartkly tentang panoptikon dan gender hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembicaraan masyarakat (gosip) merupakan alat utama dalam pengonstruksian gender di masyarakat. Gosip berperan sebagai pengawas perilaku seperti apa yang boleh dilakukan laki-laki dan sebaliknya. Gosip berperan sebagai panoptikon dalam mengawasi pelanggengan konstruksi maskulinitas di masyarakat. Selain itu, ditemukan juga salah satu penanda maskulinitas ideal di masyarakat yaitu, laki-laki harus menjadi seorang alfa dan tidak bergantung pada orang lain. Jika seorang laki-laki tidak mampu memenuhi hal tersebut dirinya akan digolongkan bukan laki-laki ideal. Dalam komik No Homo dipandang memiliki orientasi seksual lain yaitu homoseksual yang dianggap tabu dalam masyarakat. Selain itu, komik No Homo merefleksikan dan melanggengkan anggapan bahwa orientasi seksual yang bukan hetero seperti homoseksual bukanlah berasal dari Indonesia. Hal itu dipandang sebagai bagian dari budaya Barat.Technological developments have changed the way in which comics are circulated and distributed throughout Indonesia. Currently the internet and social media have become the primary media for the distribution of comics. One of the media that has been chosen for circulation, distribution and consumption of comics is Webtoon. This paper intends to analyze discourse in subjects such as homosexuality and masculinity as can be observed in Apitnobaka's No Homo comic as published on Webtoon. Using Foucault's and Bartkly's understanding of the panopticon and the gender; this study suggests that community talk (gossip) plays a major role in gender-building in society. Gossip serves as a supervisory behaviour that shapes gender norms in society i.e., what is considered as acceptable behaviour by a male or vice versa. Gossip serves as a panopticon in overseeing the construction of masculinity in consumer society. Moreover, it can be observed that one of the markers of ideal masculinity in the community is that a male must be an alpha and does not rely on the others can be found within this comic. If a male does not capably fulfil these terms, he will consequently be classified a as non-ideal man by consumer society. In No Homo comics, the male is portrayed as being of homosexual orientation and it is considered as taboo in society. In addition, No Homo comics reflect upon and perpetuate the assumption that sexual orientation other than heterosexual such as a homosexual is apart from Indonesian heteronormative culture. However, it is viewed as being a symptom of western culture.
Advertising is a form of expression to convey ideas through a language either orally or in writing. Advertising that is conveyed in writing is sometimes combined with pictures and colors. Advertising aims to encourage and persuade the public that is interested in either the products or services offered. In other words, advertising must have a persuasive element. With their sophisticated networks, cellular phone service companies offer a wide array of excellence in attracting their customers. Various advantages offered by cellular phone service companies are conveyed through a language. The language containing creative dictions is always used by these companies in attracting their customers. This study aims to identify what elements make up the morphological system of advertising language used by the cellular phone service companies.From the analysis, it can be concluded that the morphological system of advertising language in the cellular phone services has both qualitative and quantitative elements which are presented in an interesting, creative, and persuasive way to depict the simplicity, inexpensiveness, completeness, security, frugality, peacefulness of the services themselves. The study also found that the morphological system of the advertising language has specific phonemic forms in their morphological process, specific morphemic forms in their morphological process, special morphemes which are specifically used in the field of cellular phone, specific morphological process, and specialized dictions. They are the typical forms of morphological system of the advertising language in the cellular phone services.
Tari Wayang merupakan salah satu tari tradisi yang tumbuh dan berkembang di Jawa Barat. Salah satunya berkembang di Sumedang yang diciptakan oleh Raden Ono Lesmana Kartadikusumah sejak tahun 1930-an. Setelah menapaki sekitar 90 tahun, tari Yudawiyata mengalami kepunahan. Oleh karena itu, menggiring pembentukan motivasi untuk melakukan revitalisasi. Dasar pemikiran ini dilandasi bahwa tari tersebut menjadi satu-satunya bentuk karya tari perang wayang berpasangan gaya Sumedang. Tarian ini diwujudkan pada tahun 1957, yang menggambarkan tentang dua orang satria sedang berlatih perang sebelum memasuki medan laga. Upaya revitalisasi ini ditempuh dengan dua tahap yakni rekonstruksi dan implementasi. Tahap rekonstruksi menggunakan pendekatan interpretasi yang memuat (to ekspress), (to explain), dan (to translate) sedangkan kreativitas diarahkan pada ranah gubahan. Metode yang dianggap relevan dalam ranah revitalisasi yakni Participation Action Research (PAR). Metode tersebut memiliki kesinambungan, karena memuat siklus partisipasi, riset, dan aksi. Partisipasi merupakan bentuk sikap kepedulian untuk menghidupkan kembali tari Yudawiyata yang sudah punah, melalui rekonstruksi. Bentuk kepedulian tersebut dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya riset yang dilakukan sebelumnya. Kemudian aksi merupakan bentuk aktivitas dalam melakukan rekonstruksi dan implementasi tari Yudawiyata. The main ingredients for a nation's development are high-quality human resources. Not only do they have excellent technical skills, but also excellent soft skills. The value of soft skills in the growth of the knowledge-based economy is being increasingly recognized in modern society. Communication skills, self-management, innovation, and/or creativity are important soft skills, among others, necessary to be able to respond to the workplace. Higher education is therefore committed to the challenges of giving the students all the necessary soft skills. This study uses a mixed technique and a case study to describe the approach to developing soft skills in higher education. The results are used to inform the development of the most crucial soft skills for ITB graduates. All of this is based on the fact that graduates must have a balance between soft skills and hard skills that will be useful for their lives when they enter society.
