This research is an analytical survey with a Case Control approach with a ratio of 1: 2. The number of samples was 123 respondents with a quota sampling technique. The collection of data on the incidence of stunting in children under five was obtained from secondary data in Banjarmasin Kuin Raya Public Health Services, while data on maternal age, mother's education level, history of visits to posyandu and history of exclusive breastfeeding were obtained by interview method using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate statistical Chi Square tests using a computer program with a 95% confidence level. Based on the results of research in Banjarmasin Kuin Raya Public Health Services working area, it was found that the history of visits of mothers who have children under five to posyandu was more that 46 (37.4%) were less active compared to 38 (30.9%) who were active and 39 (30.9%) who were inactive. (31.7%), while the history of breastfeeding was 77 (62.6%) non-exclusive breastfeeding more than exclusive breastfeeding as much as 46 (37.4%). Based on statistical tests, it was found that there was no significant relationship between history of visits to posyandu and history of exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting in children under five in Banjarmasin Kuin Raya Public Health Services working area
Budaya masyarakat tepi sungai yang lebih suka membuang air besar (BAB) di sungai, membuat mereka enggan membuat jamban di rumah masing-masing. Berdasarkan studi awal menunjukkan sebagian besar masyarakat di RT 01 kelurahan Alalak Utara masih menggunakan jamban cemplung untuk buang air besar/kecil dan limbah rumah tangganya langsung dialirkan ke sungai. Data Puskesmas Alalak Tengah tahun 2017 di kelurahan Alalak Utara menunjukkan jamban keluarga yang terinspeksi sebanyak 626 buah dan hanya 587 buah yang memenuhi syarat atau 14,1%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kepemilikan jamban sehat pada masyarakat pinggiran sungai di RT 01 kelurahan Alalak Utara wilayah kerja Puskesmas Alalak Tengah kota Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi adalah seluruh kepala keluarga di RT 01 kelurahan Alalak Utara, yaitu sebanyak 187 kepala keluarga. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, berjumlah 65 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square dengan tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan (p value 0,001), sikap (p value 0,000), tingkat pendidikan (p value 0,000), status ekonomi (p value 0,000) dengan kepemilikan jamban sehat, tidak ada hubungan antara peran petugas (p value 0,07) dengan kepemilikan jamban sehat. Disarankan agar masyarakat bersama-sama petugas kesehatan lebih berperan aktif dalam menjaga kesehatan lingkungan yaitu dengan cara membangun jamban sehat dan meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya memiliki jamban sehat.
Cooking oil is a daily necessity used by housewives for cooking purposes, but basically the community does not yet know and realize that cooking oil that has not been used can be used as household products. Waste cooking oil waste if not managed properly will make the environment dirty and can pollute water and soil. To overcome this problem, innovation in the management of waste cooking oil is needed by involving the community so that waste can be utilized as a product of economic value.One potential of cooking oil waste is a high content of fatty acids so that it can be utilized as an environmentally friendly dish soap. On one hand, in general the community is not yet economically productive, it is difficult to foster an entrepreneurial spirit to create jobs. The method to be used in achieving the objectives is by providing training in recycling used cooking oil into an eco-green floor cleaning and dishwashing soap, entrepreneurship education, encouraging home industries, and helping with product marketing. So that it can improve the standard of living of fostered orphans and poor people and the surrounding community can create jobs, so that people's lives will be better.
Jumlah Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) di Kelurahan Tanjung Pagar yang berkisar umur 15-49 tahun yang sudah menikah tergolong banyak dan sering memanfaatkan sungai untuk mandi, cuci, dan kakus (MCK) walaupun air sungai sudah tidak layak pakai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Personal Hygiene dan Penggunaan Kontrasepsi dengan kejadian keputihan pada Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) di Kelurahan Tanjung Pagar Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) di Kelurahan Tanjung Pagar dengan sampel 97 orang. Data analisis dengan uji chi-square. Teknik pengambilan sampel Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 57,7% mengalami keputihan tidak normal, 76,3% memiliki Personal Hygiene yang kurang baik dan 80,4% memakai kontrasepsi hormonal. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara Personal Hygiene dengan kejadian keputihan (p=0,000), dan tidak ada antara hubungan penggunaan kontrasepsi dengan kejadian keputihan (p=0,808). Untuk puskesmas dapat memberikan informasi lebih lanjut tentang keputihan melalui penyuluhan kepada warga sekitar mengenai Personal Hygiene khususnya cara menjaga kebersihan organ kewanitaan dengan baik.
