AbstrakBabad Cirebon merupakan cerita legenda yang mengisahkan awal mula berdirinya Cirebon. Cerita tersebut diceritakan di Keraton Kanoman setiap 1 Muharam atau bertepatan dengan HUT Kota Cirebon. Hal itu dilakukan sebagai bentuk pelestarian karena cerita babad Cirebon berperan penting sebagai sarana penggugah nilai-nilai moral yang saat ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat. Cerita ini dapat memberikan pelajaran mengenai berbagai nilai kebajikan. Hal itu dapat dibuktikan dari cerminan sikap yang ditunjukkan oleh Pangeran Walangsungsang sebagai pendiri Cirebon. Dari hasil analisis yang menggunakan pendekatan struktural, cerita babad Cirebon memuat 8 nilai moral, yakni nilai tanggung jawab, kejujuran, toleransi, penghormatan, kerja keras, kasih sayang, religius, dan tolong-menolong. Kata kunci: cerita babad, nilai moral, tradisi lisan AbstractBabad Cirebon was a legend that told the beginning of the Cirebon establishment. The story was told in Kanoman every 1 Muharam or coincide on the Cirebon city anniversary. This was done as a preservation since the Babad Cirebon story was the crucial tool to appeal of moral values that today is needed by the local and society community in general. This story gave the lessons about the various virtues value. It can be proved from the reflection of the attitude that shown by Prince Walangsungsang as a founder of Cirebon. From the analysis used a structural approach, Babad Cirebon story that have been conveyed orally more than four decades contained 8 moral values such as the values of responsibility, honesty, tolerance, respect, hard work, compassion, religious, and mutual assistance. Keywords: babad story, moral values, oral tradition A. PendahuluanSastra nusantara merupakan bagian dari kekhazanahan budaya yang dimiliki oleh bangsa Indonesia. Salah satu wujud dari sastra tersebut, yaitu cerita rakyat yang berperan penting sebagai sarana pengenalan dan penghayatan terhadap nilai-nilai moral. Salah satu cerita rakyat yang memuat nilai-nilai tersebut adalah cerita asal-usul Cirebon atau yang dikenal oleh masyarakat setempat dengan sebutan "Cerita Babad Cirebon". Ditinjau dari segi jenis, babad Cirebon termasuk ke dalam cerita legenda karena pada intinya menceritakan asal-usul pendirian wilayah Cirebon. Kata babad memiliki makna merambah hutan, semak, atau belukar (Gunaevy, 2004).
Women in the journey of human life have an important role, namely; give birth, nurture and educate their children. Mental education for women began to be developed, one of them through literary novels. The Novel Jemini by Suparto Brata presents the femininity of Javanese women from an objective point of view. Another interesting part of the novel is the strong characterization of Javanese women. This is emphasized by the use of various styles of language and diction which aim to uncover the struggle for life of Javanese women leaders. The objectives of this study are (1) Describe the characterization of Javanese women in the novel Jemini by Suparto Brata; (2) Uncovering the struggle for life of Javanese female characters in the novel Jemini by Suparto Brata; (3) Describing the lliterary style of Javanese female characters in the novel Jemini by Suparto Brata. This literary research uses the approach of feminism which is sulking in the Javanese feminism model. The data used in the form of fragments of text in the novel Jemini by Suparto Brata contained the characterization of Javanese women. Source of text data in the novel as a whole. The study’s method is semiotic structuralism with hermeneutic techniques. The results of this study indicate the feminism of Javanese women in the characterization of the novel Jemini by Suparto Brata. The lliterary style of the female characters in the novel consists of; words, sentences, phrases, figurative languages show the existence of feminism in the novel Jemini by Suparto Brata. The character of Javanese women in the novel is clever, broad-minded, always curious, shy, agile, nimble, diligent in working, strong-minded, patient and accepting, sympathetic, respectful towards parents, and adults.This research raises awareness for the public about the role of women.
Understanding the contents of the exposition text about the traditional mantu is one of the basic competencies contained in the standard content of Javanese language subjects. Students are expected to fulfill completeness in learning traditional mantu ceremonies. This makes students feel bored and lack an understanding of the material well. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out the needs of students and teachers regarding the development of android-based mantu traditional ceremonial learning media, 2) to develop learning media for android-based mantu traditional ceremonies, and 3) to make prototypes for developing traditional ceremonies based on android. This research uses a development (Research and Development) approach. The procedure of this study is 1) analysis of potential and problems, 2) collecting data, 3) product design, 4) design validation/expert testing, and 5) revisions. Data obtained using 1) interview, and 2) questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the validation test for prototypes of traditional ceremonial learning based on Android are appropriate and appropriate for students and teachers. This media is packaged or printed in the form of an android application.
This study aims to 1) find out the differences in Javanese language speaking skills in groups of students who are treated using the vlogging assignment method with groups of students who only use the conventional method or without the vlogging method. 2) find out the effectiveness of learning using the vlogging method to the learning outcomes of Javanese speaking skills in class X students of SMAN 1 Kedungwuni. This research is quasi-experimental research. The research data were obtained from quantitative and qualitative data, namely interviews and test results. The data analysis technique used a t-test, distribution normality test, and variant homogeneity test. The validity of the study was obtained based on expert judgment. The results of this study indicate that 1) there are differences in learning outcomes of Javanese language speaking skills in groups of students who are treated using vlogging assignments with groups of students who only use conventional methods. In the post-test, the mean value of the experimental class students taught by using the vlogging assignment method was 84.61, the value was greater than the average control class result of 77.89. 2) the vlogging assignment method is more effective in improving the Javanese language speaking skills of class X students of SMAN 1 Kedungwuni. The effectiveness of the vlogging assignment method is proven through the t-test on the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental and control groups. The difference in the average value of pre-test and post-test in the experimental class. is higher in the experimental class that is equal to 21.44> 14.89 in the control class. These results indicate that the experimental group with the vlogging method is more effective in improving students' Javanese speaking skills.
Objectives of the research are (1) to know the necessity of learning Javanese speech, (2) to know the prototype development of media pepipak video, (3) to know the product validation of media pepipak video for speech learning. This research uses the research and development approach. The development of this media is through five steps, i.e (1) potential problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) test expert validation, (5) design improvement. The instrument of this research is the nontest instrument in the form questionnaire. Based on the analysis results, the necessity of learning Javanese speech shows the teacher and the students need media pepipak video. The prototype results of media pepipak video have duration 04.18 minutes which consist of: (1) opening of media, (2) content of media, (3) closing of media. The test expert validation of the materials and media are obtained percentage 71.76% and 78,82% which includes a good category with some revisions, that is on the opening of media which is added the identity of the media maker.
