Masyarakat di daerah ini sudah sejak lama dikenal memiliki talenta dalam bidang ukir. Motif dan ornamen yang diterapkan pada mebel ukir Jepara dipengaruhi oleh berbagai pola dan motif ukiran dari berbagai wilayah dari luar Jepara baik regional maupun mancanegara yang beradaptasi dengan budaya local. Dalam perkembangannya, mebel ukir Jepara berkaitan erat dengan pola dan perilaku masyarakatnya dalam membentuk nilai-nilai budayanya. Hal ini juga yang membuat nilai-nilai budaya ukir Jepara berproses mengikuti perubahan zaman.
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and job satisfaction of nurses in the Young Inpatient Installation available for surgery at the Aceh Tamiang Regional General Hospital.This research is a cross sectional analytic survey type where the independent variable and the dependent variable are examined simultaneously. The population in this study were 30 nurses in the Young Inpatient Installation available for surgery at the Aceh Tamiang Regional General Hospital. The results of the bivariate analysis with the chi-square statistical test showed that there was a relationship between qualitative workload and job satisfaction of nurses with a p-value of 0.005 (p <0.05), there was a relationship between quantitative workload and job satisfaction of nurses with a p-value of 0.019 ( p <0.05) after the chi-square statistical test was performed. It is recommended to the Aceh Tamiang Regional Hospital for the placement of the need for nurses to be adjusted in quantity and quality to increase job satisfaction of the nurses in charge, to conduct surveys and analysis of job satisfaction periodically for evaluation as a basis for improving and improving employee performance from the aspect of job satisfaction of nurses, and for other researchers. It is hoped that they can carry out more specific research with other factors that can lead to job satisfaction of nurses related to different methods and data analysis.
This study aimed to determine the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the subjective well-being of the employee in Rattan Industry Trangsan Sukoharjo, Central Java, Indonesia. The mixed methods were used in this study. There are used the well-being scale to measure the subjective well-being of the employee and also used interviews for a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 30 employees consisting of 6 women and 24 men. The subjective well-being scale used in this study refers to the concept proposed by Diener (2000) which consists of 15 items with 5 choices. The results of the t-test show that there are differences in subjective well-being between the sample of subjects and the population. The hypothetical and empirical mean t-test shows that t=58.563 (p<0.05). This study indicated that the subjective well-being of the employee in the Rattan Manufacturing Industry Trangsan is better than the population. The data from interviews show that during the pandemic, exports demand from overseas such as Australia, the USA, and Europe increased. These demands allow the employee to continue their activity and led to the salary increment of the employee. Increasing income makes workers happier at work it improves their subjective well-being. However, the employees have complained about the lack of raw materials and containers. This study is expected to provide information for the government and policymakers to facilitate the export process and procurement of raw materials. Therefore, the sustainability of the product and the production process will be able to run smoothly and it also has an impact on increasing the subjective wellbeing of the employee.
Funitur as a complement to the interior becomes a commodity business that promise today. Currently, almost half the Tirtomoyo village transformed into a new residential complex. Changing agricultural land into residential land makes residents who previously livelihood as farmers begin to lose their jobs. Social and economic inequality becomes a new problem for the surrounding community and migrants, if there is no cooperation between several parties to solve the problem. The target of this activity is youth groups in Tirtomoyo Village. This research method uses qualitative and experimental methods. Furnitur making training for youth groups aims to encourage the emergence of creative entrepreneurs in Tirtomoyo Village. The training activities that have been carried out are making furniture from pallets and multiplex with HPL finishing. Activities carried out by the delivery of theoretical material, direct training and mentoring the development of furniture products. Outcomes of this activities such as product shelves and desk furniture. From these training activities, participants were able to produce furniture products made of pallet wood that were more diverse than those made of multiplex with HPL finishing.
