Rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic sport with qualifying and coordinating features characterized by "small tools". The competitive program includes both individual and team performances. An individualist gymnast presents four different routines, each with a different tool, while the team presents two different compositions, one with the same type of tool and the other with two types of tools. Dyslexia is a learning disorder, the failure of the development of hemispheric dominance or conflicts of dominance between the two hemispheres. In addition to having learning problems, people suffering from dyslexia also have problems in cognition of their bodies within space and with the musical rhythm. The aim is to analyse a case of dyslexic athlete inherent to performance, self-esteem and sociality. Through the case study and ethnographic approach it was found that the gymnast manages to achieve the same results as the other gymnasts who train with her, but showing a small difficulty in teamwork. These results encourage to explore the links between activities and data because you have in front of you an athlete to all intents and purposes, with every pros and cons that every human being can show, even if in this case the corrections must be made in a more patient way and for the results you have to wait a little more time.
In rhythmic gymnastics, very young athletes undertake a competitive activity and support workloads of four or five hours, almost unthinkable for such small girls, yet to achieve maximum results it is necessary to start at a young age and work hard. The purpose of the study is to study, in different groups of athletes (3-7 years, 8-12 years, 13-18 years) of rhythmic gymnastics, how they face emotionally and physically the physical and emotional workloads and especially if you find physical and mental well-being. The method of the study is qualitative/quantitative and the administration of 10 questions: 5 to identify the physical self-perception and 5 for the emotional one, is done anonymously. The data shows that the self-perception for physical performance is average (positive or negative and put the percentage) and the self-perception for motivation performance is average (positive or negative) and put the percentage. This data is significant for the perceptive state of the athletes to whom it is necessary to refer in order to realistically face the problem. Given the data and their significance, the study must be deepened with a more significant and detailed sample of data.

In addition to having learning problems, people suffering from dyslexia also have problems in cognition of their bodies within space and with the musical rhythm. The aim is to verify if a dyslexic athlete can succeed in practicing this sport competitively, finding benefits in terms of performance, but especially in the sphere of self-esteem and sociality. Through the case study and ethnographic approach it was found that the gymnast manages to achieve the same results as the other gymnasts who train with her, but showing a small difficulty in teamwork. Moreover, after several steps it was found that the gymnast, already having innate physical qualities, during the competitions will be more valid than his training companions, despite his learning difficulties. These results encourage to deepen the links between physical activity and personal aspects because he is an athlete to all intents and purposes, with potential and weaknesses on a par with other athletes.
